Genetic Update

Light/Dark Breeding Outcomes
The breeding of Light/Dark lions has now been changed to give an output of 50% medium cubs, 25% light, and 25% dark. We tried out the Medium only breeding originally as it made more sense in terms of genetics, but unfortunately it just didn’t translate well in gameplay. We listened to you guys and have made this change today. Any breedings made after this news post will fall under the tweaked system.

Abandon Cub

Some of you were unhappy with chased cubs appearing at the Giving Tree, and have asked for a new separate option to avoid this from happening. Today we implemented an ‘Abandon’ button on cub pages. Chasing a cub will now delete it from the game as it did before the giving tree update - but if you hit ‘Abandon’, then your cub will go to the tree and other players will get the chance to adopt it into their pride. We hope this satisfies you guys a bit more in having some choice. :)

Automated Custom Decor Sales

In your custom decor hub you can now set two prices to automatically allow other users to buy your decors - from the custom decor list. This frees up branch space and stops you needing to make lots of trades to sell copies of your decors. Users will be able to buy your decor directly from the custom decor preview page. You can remove it from sale whenever you want by just removing the prices set. The user will still be charged the 3gb copy fee on top of your price.

This is DISABLED by default - prices are set at 0. If you want to use this feature, you can set up prices, but if you wish to use raffles/sales/branches, do it oldschool way!

*Example - you want your decor to sell for 5GB - you set the price to 2GB, as the game will automatically add 3GB copy price to each purchase.
*Example - you want your decor to sell for 2000 SB but you have to remember it will add 3GB copy price, so the final price for players will display as 2000SB & 3GB.

Item Questing

Thanks to a user suggestion [link] we implemented this small change today. When sent on an item collecting quest a paw will display under each item you need to find to complete the quest. The paw will be red if you don’t have one available in your hoard, and green if you do. We hope this helps you out in your quests!

Clan Admins & Fees
Thanks to a user suggestion [link], clan admins can now pay the fees for a clan. This is no longer restricted to the clan owner only. Also, thanks to this suggestion [link], clan admins/owners can now view who left items anonymously in the hoard by hovering over the items.
Clan Expansions
Expanding the clan now has the option to choose whether you want to take the funds from the clan bank or not. Clan admins can also expand the clan instead of just owners.
Pending Clan Memberships
You now have the option to remove your pending membership request to a clan yourself.

Lipards?!

In explore there are two new encounters that based on user suggestion will let you flirt with a leopardess and then meet a lion/leopard hybrid cub and frolic with it (or.. kill it).
Each option affects karma (except for battling).

Meeting with leopardess grants you few options with different outcomes, but the lipard cub has a super super rare chance of giving you one of two decors:
*Lipard Cub - if you Frolic.
*Pissed Off Leopard - if you Kill.

New custom markings
Black Coat, White Brindle and Silver Points - they are new recolours of customizable markings that you can obtain in oasis and Marking Applicators.
We're doing a run of recolours (most of them suggested by players!) because meanwhile we're working on the new poses, so new marking designs will launch after that is finished!

Bug Fixes
*Wrong opponent showing in some battles - we are working on it but it will take a few days so please be patient!

Mod Applications - announcement on sunday
We have picked the mods, and we will contact them tonight/tomorrow. We decided to make a separate news post just to list them and announce a possible Helper Application run as well!

Remember that the event ends on May 31st at 11:59 pm, and all your currency will be stored in your account until next year.

REMINDER ABOUT CERTAIN FEATURES
If a stud is mutated.. it DOES NOT matter for breeding. If somebody is advertising their dwarf etc stud it does not affect your litter. Don't get scammed.

+ It does not matter if the parents of the stud had certain base or mutation. It really does not.
