New Moderators have been picked - we have chosen 9 people and due to amount of the training for so many people we have decided to split the recruitment into batches:

Because the last three are already among staff and very familiar with how mods react to rules, they need the least amount of training and thus they will be trained last, so that the first and second batch of people can bond with the the rest of the staff and train nicely till then.

Also, since they're helpers, we don't want to lose so many at once now :o
New Mods for now will learn the behaviour and be under training before receiving badges, and they'll be slowly learning their ways - we expect each batch to assimilate at about 2 weeks.

Skype thing - I usually like to have Helpers on skype for emergency contact (aka Helper sees problems in chat/site died, a quick ping on skype is great) - certain questions that need admin answers, and Helper group chat, useful for asking questions or reporting things to mods asap. However, it is not required and don't worry about it.
