The floating isles are all the home you have ever known. It is peaceful in the sky-bound cities and life is comfortable. Or at least it was until about five years ago. That was when the rot started to form, strange cracks, like sores, bubbled up on the fringes of the outer islands, slowly eating through the stone. And then they fell. One by one, the smaller floating islands began to crumble apart and topple to the ground. But the rot only continued to spread, eventually taking hold on Alstor, one of the six great isles and home to the greatest scientific minds the skies had to offer. They tried to stop it, tried to investigate its cause, but anything and anyone that touched the rot soon fell ill. Eventually the island began to crumble, and all of its citizens were evacuated, scattered into the remaining five great floating islands. Since then, great strides have been made to discover the origin of the rot, and eventually it was learned that the rot was rising from far below. There, a barren wasteland called the Lower World also cracked and bled with rot, its scorched land torn apart by polluted rivers, as if by the claws of some great beast had dug deep into the world. Many were sent to investigate this long forgotten world, and very few have survived. Desperate and on the brink of destruction, the five great isles resorted to a raffle of sorts. Any who willingly enters their name into the raffle receives monetary compensation, but those lucky, or unlucky, few whose names are chosen will be sent to the Lower World in hopes of finding a cure. This is where your story begins. Why you entered your name, only you know. But all that matters is that now your name has been drawn, and now you are headed to the Lower world. ![]() Edited on 29/06/16 @ 20:49:42 by Davina {Mottled|Hematite} (#68950) |

cough cough Ow that hurt. OH. DONT LOOK NOW. We've got that too. My friends and i created a world of fun. Craft wolves, rival packs, and even *slightly* barbaric-ly cunning killers (rival group headed by yours truly, and killer group run by sunfire!!) ![]() Edited on 27/06/16 @ 20:42:39 by CinderβBlaze (#33027) |

Yes, Group A is on Arstal and Group B is on Riter. I just looked through the recent responses and everyone appears to be where they are supposed to be? A few people are in the stables of their assigned Isle or on the outskirts, but technically they are still on Arstal or Riter. Also Cinder, moving this over here which I probably should have done in the first place. I think someone else asked how my fingers were (you I think actually) and I totally didn't answer them because I'm awful and legit forgot to respond. They're fine though. The wrist braces help considerably. ![]() |

*clAPS* Don't destroy ur hand Potato bud the surgery for carpal tunnel sometimes renders you incapable of feeling things in that particular hand ![]() |

Yeah, I'm honestly terrified of that. I did see a doctor and she doesn't actually think I have Carpal Tunnel since I did a few movements/exercises that were supposed to be painful, but weren't. She suggested I see a neurologist, but I've procrastinated for months now. For the most part my hands/fingers are still usable and I can lift things fine, they just range from an aching pain to a more tingly pain that shoots from the wrist into the fingers and sometimes makes typing difficult. Nothing seems to make the pain worse though (like movement, bending, etc). Apparently if I had Carpal Tunnel even just bending my wrists would be agonizing according to my doctor so idk. It's also in both of my hands so I'd be screwed if I had surgery and lost feeling in both lol. ![]() Edited on 28/06/16 @ 13:02:22 by Potato Lord [MAIN] (#33076) |

Well the beginnings of something similar to carpal tunnel does do that. Its basically the same thing, your nerves sending different signals to your brain that feel like a tingling sensation, usually due to an abnormal amount of pressure out on the muscle on the underside of the wrist. So the wrist brace you have should help, or having a cushion or something to place on your wrist when you're on the computer (which is usually the main cause of that feeling). ![]() |
