Back when search by personality was introduced in trades, I had an idea: wouldn't it be convenient to search lions by their heritage? We could have this option in the search page, in the trading center, or both. We could have a new field in the search page that would let us limit the generation of the lions shown in the search - like the stat one works - and then another two empty fields where we could write the name or ID of a lion , and the option to either "seek only lions with x in their heritage" or "avoid lions with x in their heritage" for our search. That way, we could search 1st generation lions - rolled males, NCLs, groupies... -, limit the searches to a particular lion's line - useful to track down frozen lionesses' cubs and their offspring - or avoid a particular lion's line easier for those interested. Suggested by BlueStar (Reindeer) (#2477): Have the option to search inbred lions or not. What do you think? Feedback is greatly appreciated! |

I really hope this gets added at some point cuz I was thinking of submitting the same idea if it didn't already exist  It's so much work to cycle through tons of studs just to check their heritage 0 players like this post! Like? |

Although I support this I don't see it being added. The admins don't want 'clean' and 'dirty' to be an actual game mechanic and have taken steps to ensure that clean breeding and dirty breeding doesn't get promoted. 0 players like this post! Like? |

I know this is an older topic, but I've been thinking about this a lot lately. This would REALLY help with finding studs, especially if you enjoy low gen breeding or are playing in a Hard Mode style. I know these are just player-made playstyles, so the devs certainly don't have a need to add it for something unofficial... However, it is also something that has been implemented on Wolvden, and it made a huge difference there, at least for me personally. I wish almost every day that we could search by heritage or at least JUST search for "no heritage" lions. 0 players like this post! Like? |
