I'm kinda on the fence about this but I guess I'll go for option 1.
I would really like to get the rp going and since we don't even have a set in some plot yet it won't change too much. And rping with more people in the group will make it more interesting

It'll get the rp going, and as others have said, there are clans that don't have as many cats, which makes for unbalanced stuffs~ As for the positions people had, well, I suppose there could be a dice roll between the two leaders, deputies and medcats(appr.)

If there are some that don't mind stepping down and making their character warriors, that could be done too.

The idea can actually help progress this roleplay quite a bit. Though I do suggest this to happen later on in the roleplay, this can really take a good turn in this roleplay. The only tricky part is who will be leader of the combined clans, so Sparrowstar will most likely lose her rank, but im fine with it.

I say Yes, Option 1.
I'm kind of torn between option 1 and 2, but I think I'm going with option 1. I know i haven't been active but, as I've said, I apologize.
I think it would be easier, as you stated; Less members needed, the roleplay would start sooner, and a faster paced roleplay over all. More clanmates in two Clans instead of less clanmates in four Clans also is a good idea in my opinion. Also, as some person said in one of their votes, it'd give an option for people to join Eclipses group. I admit, I am considering that myself ^.^ More people to interact with inside both Clans and more chance for that fun drama a lot of us love to roleplay. Yes, option 1 would hurt me, but it would benefit me more than hurt me. Sure, I'd be losing the deputy rank, but I'd be happy regardless. :)

I don't know, what would high-ranked people do if the clans were merged? But aside from that, sounds like a good idea to me.

The higher ranks will be chosen between. With medicine cats, we should be fine, since there are only two. But leaders and deputies will most likely be decided between if and when the clans are merged together. ^-^

Option one has majority vote - It will be enacted ASAP
We plan on having tensions rise in the clans and then have them separate at a later date into the 4 Clans. This will allow all the current Leaders and Deputies to be organized in a way that the splitting itself will give them their current ranks. You do not have to change your backstories or history unless you truly wish to. All the new cats created beyond this point, however, will have to be either Westclan or Eastclan.
I know this change may disappoint a few members, but it's going to help us in the long run! It'll also help keep the plot rolling and allow a unique Rp situation upon dividing!

- All cats form both these clans will relocate to Westclan's camp (( ignore my previous statement on the reverse )).
- The Leader of Northclan Ashenstar, will have her warrior name and be a Warrior; when the clans split she will have to be elected the Leader in-Rp by the cats deciding to move with her.
- The Deputy of Northclan, Reddusk, will become the Westclan Deputy for the time being. He will then leave with Ashenstar and the others when the time comes. Tigerstorm will be elected into his place in the aftermath.
- Westclan is known for their climbing skills, but certain cats enjoy the water in their territory more; this causes a few tensions in the clan
- Northclan and Westclan territory are now combined; Westclan does not have the extra forest location as of yet either (( that will come after they separate )).

{Southclan will merge with Eastclan}
- The Leader of Southclan, Doestar, will have her warrior name and be a Warrior during the current Rp as well. When the clans split she will be elected the Leader in-Rp by the cats deciding to move with her.
- The Deputy of Southclan, Tinyflower, will become a Warrior for the time being. When she leaves with Doestar, she will then be elected a Deputy and
- Eastclan is known for their agile bodies and speed, but certain cats would prefer ambushes and using their brains over their physical abilities. This will cause tension.
- Eastclan and Northclan territory are now combined; they will reside at Eastclan camp for the time being until the split.

{Other/Etc}
- The Two Medicine Cats will remain in the clans they are now after the split. When the time comes their apprentices will have the option of either staying in their current clan or leaving. If need be, I will have a Medicine Cat come out of retirement.
- The Gathering place will only have two pedestals, but a huge storm after the split will reveal two more for North and Southclan.
- HERE a Spreadsheet that details what the Clans look like currently.

@Alley Cat - It's fine! I asked for advice from the admin chat before doing anything or posting a poll. We agreed on a few things and other things I organized so it would remain as it is.
(( Did you scroll down the Spreadsheet? He's at the bottom below the kits. I did have another list in the same box as him so it pushed him off to the side. I've fixed it, though! ))

She will be joining before preferably. The clans will be merged for a duration of the Rp, the splitting will happen much later in the Rp. It'll be lead up to while the original plot with Eclipse comes into play, and we can actually advance both sides of the issue with Eclipse's plans.

At this point, any new cats made will have a chance of later choosing where they want to go clan-wise when we split. I've color coded the new spreadsheet where the cats in Southclan and Northclan are coded in their original clan color. During the split all of those cats will go with their respective leader depending on their color in the spreadsheet. The new cats that join will have the option of picking their sides and splitting with the clan of their choice.

Alrighty, I feel terrible doing this, but I might have to limit future Sign-Ups or start a new thread for them past this point.

I'm sorting through the pages and there's so much spam. Some pages are entirely comments or just cats that no one responded about or fixed (( probably assuming they'd be accepted 100% right away? )). It's not very helpful in the terms of organzing the spreadsheet, but we really need future cats to join to help balance the Rp.

We need another Medicine cat for Eastclan/Southclan. Panda has left for the time being, although we will readily welcome them back into the Rp when/if they do return!
