"Bullets might be hard to come by." She looked over to watch him as he pulled out the pouch, "If you have something to barter with, then the local gang might part with some, but i would be careful around them if i were you." She warned, "They're... not very nice people." She frowned and cast her eyes to the ground as a memory of a past encounter with them had left her shaken, and nearly cost her Hans' life.

"There aren't too many people around here, so a few old building will still have stuff to loot, but not much. And there aren't too many people to trade with, other than the gang." She let out a deep sigh, wondering if she would even be able to get anything this trip.

Her eyes went to Nokoo as she realized that the dog had somehow felt slighted by her calling Hans away, and she regretted it. A small pout appeared on her face, "Awww, I'm sorry Nokoo." She stopped walking and held out the back of her hand towards the wolf-dog, "Come here boy." Waiting to see if he would come and sniff her hand and allow her to pat him. Hans took notice of this and watched his owner try to interact with Nokoo, standing close to her side so he could interact with Nokoo as well.

Jason let out a huff, "I know a few places to find bullets.. but they are too far away at this moment so, we will have to make due.. and gangs are never nice.. believe me." He heard about someone who got in trouble with them and lost their life, he stayed clear in order to keep him and Nokoo safe. When Mino stopped, so did Jason and he smiled as she tried to get Nokoo to go over. Nokoo noticed them stop and he turned around, he was interested in the way she had all of a sudden held out her hand to him. Though he wasn't interested enough to go over, he just looked at her and then at Hans, he sat down and stared at Hans, he barked slightly though it sounded deeper than a usual dogs would, it sounded kind of friendly as if he was calling the dog over to him because she still wasn't very used to the girl.. he was better with other animals than with people. Jason pet Nokoo's head, "come on bud, she wants to be your friend see?" He smiled down at Nokoo whose attention had gone to Jason but, he just looked at Hans and didn't seem very interested in Mino, he kept his eyes on Hans, basically wanting him to come over so he wouldn't have to go over there. Jason's eyebrow lifted up as he watched Nokoo, "you are one weird boy Nokoo.. ok have it your way, don't say I didn't tell you" Nokoo once again seemed to stick his tongue out at Jason, Jason laughed at Nokoo and threw him a piece of meat. He looked around once again, putting his hands back in his pockets and watching Nokoo be a weirdo, which was very funny at times.

Mino pouted and dropped her hand, "Fine, don't be my friend." She said in a mock sad voice. But then smiled, patting Hans on the head, and nudging him towards Nokoo. Hans seemed to smile at Mino, before cautiously making his way to Nokoo, sniffing the air around him.

While Hans tried to interact with Nokoo, Mino spoke to Jason. "I've hardly ever had a dog that didn't like me," she pouted again. "Maybe it's just the wolf in him," She pondered out loud, though she was mostly acting upset for show, it did sort of sting a little. The fact that dogs tended to be wary of bad people was making her reevaluate herself a little.

"Oh." She remembered, "Instead of trying to get water in town, there is a creek back that way that has nice water." She pointed back in the direction they had come from. Then, realized that showing this stranger where the creek was meant also showing her where she lived. "If you'd like, I can bring you some later."

Jason watched Mino pout and Nokoo just look at her, more interested in Hans, he looked back at Hans who was being persuaded to go towards him. He just sat there, basically saying he is no threat to him and sniffed from the distance he was at. Jason watched the two interact with a smile as he listened to Mino, "well.. it's not the wolf part.. he is mostly wolf but, he just doesn't get along with a lot of people.. it has been that way ever since we both started travelling actually" He didn't want to say much about that but, he just told a little bit and once he heard about the creek and she would bring him some.. she would have to go their shelter... dang it.. he looked at her and nodded, "sure.. thanks.." He didn't want to be rude but, if they ran out he would probably go and get some more some other time.. Nokoo stood up after a good few minutes and got a little closer to Hans, sniffing and then eventually laid on his back in his wolfly behaviour to show no threat and barked playfully. Jason laughed at Nokoo, "making new friends? Good.. you need some so you don't keep trying to take me down silly" Nokoo looked at Jason and barked as if to tell him off and Jason's hands went in the air, a silver Lace around his left wrist shimmered in the sun light and jingled ever so slightly, "ok ok.. I am sorry.. I still love wrestling with you" and when Nokoo looked back at Hans, Jason's hands went right back in his pockets and he laughed. He looked back to Mino, "your dog is pretty big.. the dogs I have seen Nokoo bring back from God knows where we're a lot smaller than him.. Hans is still smaller but not too much which is interesting.." He was always interested in animals, he didn't want her to feel like he only talked about dogs and such so, he cleared his throat and continued, "we have come far, it is very interesting actually.." He trailed off, feeling a little awkward..

Mino let out a small giggle as the two dogs started to play. It was refreshing to see something so sweet and innocent. Hans always had to make due playing alone when she was busy, which was most of the time, so she new the pup was happy to play with another dog. She listened to Jason speak, though her eyes stayed on Hans and Nokoo, nodding to let him know she heard him.

"I haven't seen many other dogs in a long time," The thought back. "I think the gang in the town had one at one point, but im not sure what happened to him." She frowned, those people were not kind to animals, in her experience, and she was sure that the worst had happened to the poor pup. "Before all of this..." She started again, she oddly felt the need to share more abut herself, "I was always surrounded by dogs, but I don't know what happened to all of them..." She let out a sigh. She had always wanted the best for animals, which is why she had tried to follow in her fathers footsteps and become a vet, but her plans had been cut short by the virus.

"We haven't traveled much really." She started to tell more of their situation. "I found Hans when I came to this place, he was only a pup then... Sad and all alone." She wanted to finish up by saying how similar their situation was, but refrained from doing so. She let out one more sigh before plastering a smile on her face. "Well, we should get into town, i'd like to get home before night fall."

Jason listened to Mino as he smiled at Nokoo and Hans, he hadn't actually gotten to actually play.. sure they wrestled sometimes but it wasn't the same. He didn't get to play with other dogs that much.. "At least he met someone kind hearted.. I met Nokoo when I was younger, he was an adolescent and he took to me for some reason.. he would follow me around and so I just decided to keep him and we have been travelling together ever since." He pulled the package of meat out of his pocket and carefully opened it. Upon smelling the meat, Nokoo had come dashing over leaving Hans where they had played, staring up at Jason. "Ok here you go.." He smiled and threw him a piece, Nokoo picked it up and ran over to Hans and gave it to him, Jason laughed and threw another piece over. He took a piece out for himself and offered Mino, "you don't have to be curious with me.. take a piece if you want it. I have a good supply of them. I catch things almost every day.. this is beef I sun dried myself" he smiled and then took a bite of his own piece as he watched Nokoo share his food with Hans and waited for her to take a piece.
