Star walks over the river and lowers head a taking a nice drink of water. once she quinst her thirst ; She walks over to her son Cloudjumper. " how are today ? " she asks her son. She is happy that her Son enjoys being with the herd.

Cloud snorted as he followed after a butterfly while the rest of the herd caught up to Star. Cloud shaking himself off as he spotted the water and quickly trotted over his mother. Taking a moment to take a few sips of her milk, his little tail swishing back and forth as he looked back at her. A grin on his little face as he heard her ask how she was doing, and opened his mouth to say something. Only to turn and get distracted by some of the other foals and went to go and see what they were doing. Prancing over to them and noticing that they were investigating a prickly little ball (hedgehog) which seemed to constantly be moving. Cloud watching the tiny creature and jumping away when it seemed to move a little more towards him.

Cloud was rather enjoying himself as he looked at the strange little spiky ball and watched it tottle away. Tilting his head to the side for a couple of minutes. Then slowly made his way towards the watering hole once more. Shaking off his light palomino coat as he looks around the herd. Noticing quite a lot in his days since being first born and finding it all very fascinating in a lot of ways. Noticing a strange jumping creature (frog) as it moved through the grass. Cloud whinnying in excitement as he tried to chase the hopper, weaving through the other mares and foals. Skidding to a halt just before a rather large slippery cliff, watching the frog making it's way down with little effort.

Star trots over to her son making sure he is ok. " are you having fun with your friend?" she asks her son. She looks over at the other mares in the herd.

"Oh I am Mama," replied Cloud as he looked back over to his mother when she came over. Even if he was kind of annoyed that his friend had left him. Snorting a little bit as his tail swished back and forth for some time. Turning his head over at some of the other mares. Only to notice a stranger in their midst, noting that he was big black stallion by the looks of it. Making his way over to the stallion as he seemed interesting to little Cloud wondering what he was doing here. "Whose that Mama?" asked Cloud looking up at his mother for a moment and then back at the stranger.

" i don't know. stay close to me " she says to her son , for his safety. She walks over to the black stallion. The Black is looking at the Star and the other Mares in the herd. " what brings you here?" star asks the stallion.
