Personality:
Aspen is a gentle young brute with a kind heart and compassionate nature. He shies away from violence and doesn't enjoy fighting, but is an excellent hunter. The thrill of the chase is always his favorite part. He can prove rather forgetful and clumsy so it's best not to trust him with anything too important. The Greyhound means well of course. He's just very easily distracted or spooked.

He is timid and passive in demeanor, yet still willing to stand up for himself and others when he feels the need. More often than not however he will avoid confrontation if he can, usually fleeing a tense encounter with a passive-aggressive comment on the tip of his tongue. That aside, Aspen is a friendly and warm individual who always strives to do the right thing. All in all he's an amicable fellow who's easy to be around so long as you can accept his flaws.

Appearance/Looks:
Height: 30 inches at the shoulder.

Aspen is a lithe blue-brindle hound with a white throat, chest and paws. He has a sleek, short coat and a streamlined body built for running. Aspen's eyes are almond shaped and a lovely shade of brown. His ears are small and naturally fold back against the skull, sometimes flopping forward slightly. A small chunk is missing from the left ear.

His abdomen curves up sharply behind the ribs creating a slender waist and his spine is hinged, making him a rather flexible canine indeed. His head is narrow with an elongated muzzle ending in a dark blue-black nose. While undeniably thin he is also quite tall, being made up of mostly legs, and only the largest breeds tower over him.

Brief History:
Aspen has a surprisingly dark past considering his cheery personality, or perhaps not so much when you notice how jumpy he is over the smallest of noises. He was born in captivity to serve as a racing dog for human entertainment as most of his kind often are, frequently beaten or starved when he didn't perform well. After he and several of the other racing hounds were considered no longer useful they were dumped on the side of the road and left to fend for themselves. The group consisted of Aspen, his mother Dove, father Blue, his father's brother Rain and two unrelated Greyhounds, Tiger and Striper.

The Greyhounds set out on their own, choosing to stick together in order to survive. Tiger quickly became the leader of their small group. While the reddish brindle male started out with good intentions the newfound power quickly got to his head. He became tyrannical in nature, treating his friends like slaves. Any time one dog tried to leave he would talk them out of it, either through manipulating their emotions or intimidating them. Eventually Dove decided enough was enough and faced Tiger head on. The prize? If she won she and her kin could leave. The challenge was accepted and Dove defeated Tiger fair and square after a drawn out battle that left both dogs with bloody pelts and exhausted limbs.

Dove, Blue and Rain soon went their own way. Much to their dismay, Aspen stayed behind, too frightened of Tiger to leave when he was given the chance. Months later Aspen finally decided to take off as Tiger's behavior worsened and the older hound began physically abusing him out of frustration. Now he wanders the streets alone.

Personality:
Kano is a gruff dog with a somewhat detached disposition who tends to favor order over freeform. He is not completely unkind, but his former years as a fighter have left him jaded. He truly does care about his packmates, but has a hard time expressing emotions openly. He doesn't often exert dominance over other dogs despite having both the size and strength to back him up. Their opinions and views are important to him. He wants them to feel they can always speak their minds or come to him with ideas or concerns. So long as they are behaving and respecting each other as well as him and their leader he has no reason to put them down. He also tends to frown upon canines who act as if they are superior to the rest of them. He tends to have an "all dogs are equal" mentality and can become uptight around canines who try to lord themselves over others.

Appearance/Looks:

Weight: 170 pounds.

A large, muscular brute with a predominantly white pelt and splotches of light brown fur with black tipped hairs around the face. He has a broad head, closely cropped ears and a tail docked around mid-length. He is robust with a wide chest and dark auburn eyes.

Brief History:
Ovcharkas are typically used as watch dogs and livestock guardians, but Kano unfortunately ended up in the hands of one of dog fighters instead of on a farm or someone's home. His intimidating size and ferocious nature quickly made him a champion, but Kano took no real pleasure in the killings and the first chance she got to escape he took. He can not see humans as anything other than evil as a result and may become violent if any try to approach him save for children, whom he still seems to hold a strange affection for. They are innocent after all. Unaware of their own cruelty and what they will become. He did not leave behind the fighting rings without problems, at times prone to violent outbursts and hostility, but he is working hard to move past these flaws. Other dogs aren't the enemy. They never were.

American Pitbull Terrier.

Personality:
Bubbly, friendly, happy-go-lucky and a bit scatter brained. Azura is a hyper little ball of energy and hardly ever seems to rest. She isn't incredibly assertive, but will not allow herself to pushed around, willing to stand up for herself and others without much thought for consequences. She abhors bullies and can be easily baited into fights as it is easy to get her worked her up. She is optimistic and always looks on the bright side of things.

17 inches at the shoulder. She's still growing and will likely be closer to 19 inches as a fully grown adult.
Weight: 45 pounds.

A small blue-gray Pitbull with similarly colored eyes. A streak of white stretches from her forehead down to her muzzle. Her throat, underbelly and front toes are also white. Her ears are floppy and hang forward and she has a thick, whip-like tail.

Crush/Relationships:

Brief History:
Initially meant to be a service dog. She proved too excitable and impulsive, eventually ending up in the pound. She was adopted thanks in part to her unique coloring and friendly disposition. Always in search of a new adventure, she bolted out the front door one day as her owners were coming in and became lost. Much to her distress she never found her way home and no one came looking for her.

She was spayed at the animal shelter and so will never be able to have puppies. This is a probably a good thing as she'd likely, unintentionally of course, be a negligent mother.
