I don't support this suggestion as some of us don't do anything with lions except kill them, we'd have 1'000s of lions in our den.

Sounds ok, but maybe, only the ones in our Dynasty?

EDIT: (Upon seeing post below me,) Maybe, they don't like 'Join' your pride again, but more of an interactive message, like if you click on a lions page, sometimes a little green box appears, and you could get rewards out of it, like if they say: 'your fallen lioness, (Name) has come back to gift you a Carcass, seeing that your lioness are a bit hungry' or something like that?
EDIT: or, 'Your Fallen Lioness, (name), has come back to grant you 10 Meteorite shards, a little gift to say, Thanks for giving her a home.' to be more relevant w/ the event
EDIT: or maybe they could be Broodmothers? just for the month of july

What do you mean, visit?

Generally, I'm not sure if this has much of a purpose, because any lions/lionesses that you want to be able to view later, you would save to your pride dynasty upon their death, and thus be able to see them whenever you want.

Also, the lion files are deleted if you don't save their files, or if you kill/send them to the reserve. They clog up space on the server, which is why you have a limited number of free slots in your pride dynasty.

So, it isn't really possible to retrieve dead pride members, unless they're saved to your pride dynasty, and if they are, then there's not really a point in having them visit, since you can already see them.

If by visit, you meant re-join the pride temporarily, rather than just be shown to you, I don't see a practical purpose to that either. They wouldn't be able to hunt or breed or be broodmothers, being that they're dead, so they would just nom your den space.

I support this! It would be wonderful to see my lionesses once their gone! Maybe a thing with kings of the past as well? Something like "While exploring, you come across the spirit of [name]. You remember hearing legends about him from your pridemates." And the something like "The noble past king gives you advice on being king (10+ EXP!)" or, "Seeing his former pride was hungry, [name] gives you a {insert random carcass} and tells you to take good care of his home."

Pandora i thought of that, however finding them in explore woukd be a lot of extra work for the mods to add in. They would have to code the lionesses to each pride. So in that case it would be very complicated. I was thinking more of like each july they come back from your dynasty and say hi, maybe help out the pride a bit. Like tiger said

The thing about taking up space that also gave me a second idea. Maybe you could buy extra spaces with meteorite shards or something when july comes around.
By visit i did mean like coming back to help out the pride but everyones input here is much better than my idea. You all have helped me a bit with the progress of this. Thank you all!

I would be cute but maybe for the other month (I forget which) that also features Spirits, but sorry as it currently is I could't support this suggestion for the month of July .

Buying spaces in your den is relatively easy to do already and the July meteorite shards are very easy to get during the event which would kinda make the SB or territory battles for space practically invalid. as you could buy like all the space you need in July.

As for past kings giving your current king Exp. Unless it was a really small amount (like 1-10 exp) and was hours apart. I think it would be overkill for the amount of exp this event gives. I mean my using the Murder stone you get like 200+ exp. I've gotten it nearly every other time I've used the stone, with a total of maybe over 30 Ncls just in the past 2 days. so the event already gives plenty of exp. not including that if you beat appollyon in battle you get a pretty nice amount of exp as well, and I've run into him a good handful of times in explore.

If the lions that had passed away did come back to visit the pride,it seems like it would be more simple. like maybe a dialog box would pop up in a living pride members page (at random chance) and say something like:

" (former lions name here) has come from the stars and tussled with Cub"

Or something near those lines. that way you wouldn't have to interact with that living pride member that day.

I remember an event last year, I'm not sure which, but something did happen where the text was always the same..something like "(name) came down from the stars and granted you EXP" or something. And the name of the lion was coded to be a random lion in your dynasty.

I'm not saying I support or don't support, I'm just saying that I remember something similar happening in the past. It wasn't an image of the lion but just a text box.
