Battle of Champions

There was once a barren land named Selvaklan, where war is a common event and death is at everyone's door. The different races that lived on this land, the Humans, Elves, Dwarfs, Fairies, Centaurs and even the fairly new species Human Hybrids fought each other to control and own Selvaklan. Through the years, after much death and sorrow. All the races came together and separated the new Empire into six kingdoms. Each owned by a different race. They then created a council, the elders, lords and kings of each kingdom, to help control the lands together and bring peace.

But this wasn't enough, they needed someone to keep this Empire safe, to control the armies and make the hard choices. So, they decided to create Champions, one pupil that is chosen from a battle to lead the land of war. It is considered a fair fight, so the strongest and smartest of each kingdom come together every fifty years. To have a battle in which a Champion is chosen if they are the last standing. It was also decided by the council that this must commence every fifty years for those that live shorter lives then others. 

It is now time again to choose that Champion, and for this to happen, those that believe can do this. They sign their name and are given a power that they will have forever, either Elemental, Mental Manipulation and Shape Shifting. Though this battle the powers are only there to aid them, their strength of fighting and leading are also just as important and is also tested in this battle. This Champion can be of any age between sixteen and nineteen years old if mortal or any age if immortal (Or slow aging) and any gender. This Champion stays in lead for fifty years until the next choosing. Those that do not win become part the militarily lead by the Champion, and they too keep their powers, but this power can not be passed on to the their children. Only that if their children or grand children decide to also join the battle when it next arrives that they are most likely to get the same power as those of their family that have been in before them.

But before their battle can even begin, they must train hard as these champions are not only given the choice to fight for their right to represent the kingdoms, but also powers to help keep the kingdom in peace. So with this new power, comes a training school, at this school is a special teacher has been given ALL the powers to help future Champions train for the battle. These future Champions are given 12 weeks to train and ready themselves for a battle that they can either win or lose.

(So yes, this is my first Group Role Play I have made on here, and I know it might be a little confusing to some, but I have tried to explain everything as best I could. Though please feel free to ask any questions through PM or down below anytime.)

Roleplay Rules:
1) Follow all Lioden Rules
2) Fade to Black in inappropriate scenes. (For example: birthing or violent/bloody deaths)
3) No power playing, god-modding or being Mary Sue (Perfect).
4)  Cursing is allowed, but please keep it to a minimum or to Lioden rules.
6) Please write more then three sentences per character in the role play and the maximum amount of paragraphs per character is three (5 sentences a paragraph at most). This is so we don't have this long book for every character, this is a role play. XD
7) Ask for permission to kill a character. 
8) All battles/fights (Including simple spar's, or fights between each other) in this RP must have a chosen winner of the outcome before the fight begins. (Decided by the players involved in the fight or by me if needed) 
9) You are allowed a maximum of two characters, but not allowed in the same race (This also includes not selecting the same sub-species as they go under the same race).
10) This is a first come, first served basis. I will allow you guys to reserve a power, but after 2 days without sign up, someone else can take them if they please.
11) When role playing, please write your characters name, power, location and who they mention before writing your post. You can of course add more information such as age, gender, species, etc, but it is not recommended.

Powers:
Elemental (4/5): Elemental are the powers of the four elements. Fire, water, air and earth. So you can control and even create fire, freeze and unfreeze water, create mountains and earthquakes and even control the wind. All these abilities are given to you if you have an Elemental power. 

Mental Manipulation (2/5): There are three powers in this world that involve the mind, such as Telepathy, Telekinesis and Projection. Telepathy is the ability to read ones mind, telekinesis is the ability to move things with their mind and Projection is the ability to transmit images and feelings to the minds of others that can influence them to do their bidding. Though people can learn all three, it is very draining and time consuming. The immortal's have more chance learning all three then a Human ever would. But, majority usually master only one ability and train in another to almost Expert level. But it is incredibly hard, almost impossible to master all three, though it is possible to used all three, mastering is a different thing.

Shape Shifting (2/5): This ability can only be used by a few of the species in Selvaklan as some of them already have unique forms. Shape Shifters are usually seen as those that like to pretend to be something they are not. They are great at stealth and fooling others. Those that can shape shift also take on the abilities of what they shape shift into. Such as, if they shape shifted in animals like a tiger. They would then gain great flexibility and enhance senses. Or if they were to shape shift into that of someone else, such as a living person to fool another, you will also gain their voice tone, etc. You can shape shift into anything that is an object or person or animal, except elements such as fire or water, etc.

(Powers will start with a limit of five on each, but once the limit is reach on each power, I will raise it +2 on limit on all and so on)

List of Race and Sub-Species:
(These Species are only based off what I read, they have also been altered and made how I wish and to also work with this plot)

Human: Pretty self explanatory, they are one of the most dominated species in the six kingdoms. They are one of the reasons that they have a choosing every fifty years, as they only live for so long. They can have all three powers, Elemental, Mental Manipulation and Shape Shifting.

Elves: Elves are the second most dominated species in this Empire, as they quite similar to humans, except Elves live very, very long lives, even over thousands of years and still look quite young. And Elves are usually really intelligent and composed creatures. Elves can commit all powers: Elemental, Mental Manipulation and Shape Shifting. 
There are two sub-species of Elves in this world:
- Light Elf: Light coloured skin tones, with pastel greens, pinks, blues, reds and even oranges, etc. Sometimes even white hair.
- Dark Elf: Usually cool or dark skin tones, blues and purples with dark almost black coloured hair.

Centaur: Centaur's are a unique creature, the best hunters and amazing at archery. They are Human's from the stomach above and have a animal body with four legs and hooves. They are usually quite large creatures, easily standing between 8 to 12 feet, though it depends on gender and build. They live slightly longer lives then humans, easily around 95 to 125 years. Centaurs can use the powers Elemental and Mental Manipulation only as they can not use Shape Shifting because of their species. 
There are two sub-species of Centaurs in this world:
- Horse Centaur: A horse body of any breed, quite large and can stand from even 8 ft to easily 12 ft tall.
- Deer Centaur: They are more smaller in size with a deer body.

Dwarfs:  Dwarfs are similar to humans, but smaller and live longer lives up to easily 500 to 800 years. They are known to be great builders, blacksmiths and miners. They would have the best armor, the best weapons and even the best technology. They are usually strong, excel at fighting and are aggressive, but this also depends on the Dwarf. Dwarf's can use the powers Elemental, Mental Manipulation and Shape Shifting.

Fairies: Fairies are similar to that of Elves and live about as long as them, except they have wings. They are more quiet creatures and usually like to hide themselves in the forest where they build their homes. Much like the Elves. They can come in all sizes from being the size of your hand to the size of a human and are the only creatures with simple magical abilities such as Light Magic. Light magic of changing their size and some healing and protecting spells. Fairies can use the powers Elemental and Mental Manipulation, but can not use Shape Shifting with their species. 
There are three sub-species of Fairies in this Empire:
- Wood Fairies: Wood fairies have earthly coloured skin tones, clothes and hair. Browns, to greens, yellow and even pinks and light blues (That represent the flowers and trees in a forest). Wood fairies have butterfly wings that are usually the same colour as the fairy themself.
- Pixie's: Pixies are usually flirty colours, sometimes reds, pinks and purples. They can be of either light or dark tones. Pixie's have Dragonfly wings.
- Night Fairies: Night Fairies are similar to Wood Fairies, but have darker skin tones of blues, purples, browns, greens, etc. They usually have dark coloured hair, but some have yellow or even brown hair. Night Fairies have Moth wings for the night, and some wings can be just as colourful as butterflies on some occasions.

Human Hybrid: This is a species no one even knows what to call, with their human-like figure and animal features. So the name Human Hybrids became a common and most used name among them and all those in the Empire. Human Hybrid can be any animal, such as cats, dogs, birds, deer and even dragons or other mystical creatures. Though, they are more then just wings and ears. Their skin as also animal like as well as ears, tails and wings, etc. They are similar to human with how long they live, which is about a century. They can use the powers Elemental and Mental Manipulation, but not Shape-Shifting because of their body and species.
The sub-species for this race is large, and there are always different types when you walk through their lands.
