Elliot nodded slowly when she explained, in understanding. "Don't give up so quickly, y'know? Like, you still have a bit of time, right? And if they see you're doin' your work, now, they'll leave you alone, yeah?" He said, thoughtfully. He walked to the edge of the roof, briefly looking around at the people below, and sniffing the air, making sure there were no other demons or anything around, before turning back to look at her.

"Okay.. How about, since I'm bored out of my mind, I'll help you out, huh?" He offered, a white, toothy grin appearing on his face.

Willow's eyes lit up, "you would do that or me?"
"Thank you" she said as she gathered up the rest of her scrolls and shoved them into her satchel. She glanced up into the sky, just to make sure that they weren't here yet. Elliot was right, she still had time.

She unfolded her wings, stretching them out to full height, and then walked to the edge of the roof. She offered him a hand, "so you can't fly Hugh?"

Elliot shrugged slightly. "I mean, I can probably keep up with you, without the flying thing." He said, standing by her on the edge of the roof. "I think flyin' would be a little weird, for me, too.. Since I kinda can't fly on my own, I'm not used to it." He said, glancing almost cautiously at her wings.

As well as that, he wasn't sure that he could trust her just yet, though he didn't say that out loud. Who knows? Maybe she decided to drop him, or something. Sure, he'd probably live though it, but it would still probably hurt like hell.

"Sure" Willow answered, she let her hand drop back down to her side, on the way it brushed Elliot's, Willow blushed, to avoid eye contact she quickly leaped off the side of the building, letting her wings catch the breeze. She hovered for a moment, taking out the first scroll. "Robert Smite" she read aloud. Pointing North, "15 miles, that way, follow me."

With one powerful flap of her wings the wind was rushing past her face, she glanced at the sun, it was about noon. They had about 130 people to do before dark, Willow sighed, it was going to be hard. But they could do it.

Elliot nodded when she spoke, briefly cracking his knuckles, before he leaped off as well, and dodging people and cars and obstacles in general, he made his way to the next building, quickly climbing up, and racing across the roof. He leaped and ran from building to building, clearly faster than any human could be, and he kept up with her well.

He barely stumbled, aside from when he accidentally ran into a human, or an obstacle he failed to dodge, but he was quick to recover, so he didn't slow down at all. Elliot glanced up at her, making sure he was keeping up, or she didn't just suddenly speed up or something.

(Sorry I skipped ahead, I just thought that it would take quite a while to do like every person)

Willow fell to her knees, she was completely drained. The sun was starting to set and the sky turned a deep Crimson, Willow picked herself up, "only 3 more people" she sighed, stumbeling as she tried to stand. She traced with her finger all the way down to the bottem of the very last scroll. She was about to read out which direction to go in when something caught her eye, 3 dark shapes descended from the sky, Willow recognised them anywhere. she turned to Elliot "Guards! Run!' She hissed. Of they found her with a devil, well... Willow couldn't even imagine what the consequences would be. She would never be forgiven.

Elliot was catching his breath, leaning forward with his hands on his knees, when she noticed the guards and told him to run. He looked at the shapes in the sky, and grinned a bit, growling softly. "I could totally fight them, y'know. Long enough for you to go and finish up, if anything." He said, glancing at her. "Besides.. I'm tired, so they would easily get me." He added, with a shrug. Elliot took a moment, to crack his knuckles, and his neck, in case this did become a fight. "Three angels? No problem.." He mumbled, staring at them.

Willow seemed doubtful, questions spun in her head as the Angels came closer, 'what if they called for backup? what would happen to Willow after?' But there was no time for this. The Angels landed on the ground a few feet in front of them, their faces alight with shock. Willow didn't see the rest, with one great flap of her wings she was already on her way to complete her dutys. She could only hope that Elliot would be OK.

Elliot smiled wickedly, before lunging at one of the angels, quickly, almost as soon as they landed, with a low growl. Flames lit up his hands, the flames themselves similar in color to a sunset, though they were a bit pinker than most sunsets, maybe. He aimed a few punches at one of their faces, viciously, and kicked one of the others in the gut.

Willow collapsed as the last of the golden light faded from her fingertips, "done" she breathed, although no one was around to hear it. Her status would be sent to the other Angels, so as far as they knew nothing was wrong. She gasped, sitting up strait "Elliot!" She remembered suddenly, against her body's protests she stood, wobbling, she used her wings for balance. With tiny little flaps she dragged herself into the air, once high enough she forced herself to fly as fast as she could. As the red began to dads into black she hauled herself through the sky towards Elliot.

Elliot, after a few minutes, managed to wound the angels some, and scare them off, though he didn't kill them or anything, luckily. He simply laid down where he was, on his back, with his arms and legs sort of splayed out, tired from today, and the fighting didn't help with that. He huffed, and narrowed his eyes slightly, when he saw another shape in the sky, almost worried it was another guard, but luckily, it wasn't, and he relaxed again when he saw it was just Willow. Elliot lifted an arm, in a weak kind of wave.

Willow saw a helpless shape sprawled out on the ground below her, at first she feared that Elliot might be hurt, but he flashed her a grin and lifted an arm in a kind of weak wave. Willow flew untill she hovered about 12 metres above the ground. Then she let herself drop, she fell crumpled next to Elliot, letting out a weak mumble "Where did the guards go? are you Ok? What happened to them?"
As she waited for him to answer she rolled onto her back, the sky was almost completely black now, the first stars were starting to shine. It woukdn't be long before the others figured out what was happening. But Willow was too weak to worry about that now.

Elliot shrugged slightly. "I beat 'em up a bit, then chased 'em off." He explained, pausing, to yawn slightly. "I'm not hurt, though, but even if I was, I regenerate pretty quickly, so I'd be okay, anyways." Elliot said, glancing at her, before looking back up at the sky, with a small huff. "If they come back with backup, I can't fight back, though. I'm too tired." He said, and perhaps to reinforce that statement, he yawned again.

Willow marvelled at his responce, she couldn't of done that. A thought struck her, "What am I going to do Elliot? What if the guards get back before I do, they will tell the Angels everything, I won't be allowed back into heaven. Not even my mother and father will take my side." She rolled on to her side and propped herself up on one elbow, looking down at Elliot. She could slowly feel the warmth and power returning to her body, starting at the very tips of her fingers.

Elliot shrugged slightly. "You never know, when they go back, they could say I was attacking you, or something.." He trailed off, and thought for a moment. "I mean, you did say you wanted freedom, yeah? Maybe not in this way, but if you can't go back.. Well, you're free, right?" He said, smiling a bit.
