I am not really sure how people feel about this. But lately most of the raffles I enter all seem to be yanked at the last minute. People entering the raffle cant retract their tickets, but the raffle runner can just cancel it minutes before its due to close? That just... I don't know it feels wrong. If you are running a raffle you are taking the risk of not making a profit off of it. It's a raffle not a sale or auction. I would love to hear others opinions on this or maybe other idea's of how to fix this aspect of raffles. Currently the most liked idea I am hearing is to limit it to being unable to cancel in the last 24 hours or so. Original: Limit by # |

I supported however theres this: If a person closes their raffle the people who bought tickets and stuff get their items/lions back. So you aren't loosing them, and maybe the raffle-maker had good reason to yank the raffle, maybe they got an offer they could not refuse on the items in it or something. So people involved in raffles aren't loosing anything and I would rather get my SB back from a closed raffle then pour hundreds of SB into a raffle and not win anything. 0 players like this post! I don't support becuase it's the persons choice. Wether it's the last minute or not. All the items are returned so really it's fine. If a person wants to cancel then they can there shouldn't be a limit to the cancellation. Wether it's a wrong item or they just change there mind. I think it's great just the way it is 0 players like this post! Like? |

Wouldn't selling an item that is a raffle prize be considered promise selling? Since it isn't something they actively have at that moment. I am not sure that aspect is a little unclear to me still. But that is why I figure maybe just limit the number of times so its not totally disabled, for times like that. 0 players like this post! Like? |

I am very sorry but i currently do not support this. I feel as though the person should have control over their own raffle.. a happy medium however may be they cant cancel if its the day the raffle is supposed to end or a day before maybe? 0 players like this post! Like? |

@ tiger lily If it was for a day before the raffle ends then yes I will support for that but limiting the whole raffle cancel completely I won't 0 players like this post! Like? |

There is probably not a way to separate that without making another thread is there? I'm not sure if that would be to many threads or not. 0 players like this post! Like? |

That would be a trade Gaara, if people can take their tickets back then the reffle becomes a trade. 0 players like this post! Like? |

People currently do just seem to treat it as a sales board. Or advertisement. It's really discouraging to even use the system after a while when 75% get cancelled anyways. 0 players like this post! Like? |

I dont support, sorry. You get your tickets back if they cancel the raffle, so if they decide not to run it, you dont loose anything. I dont like being forced to finish a raffle even if there's not enough interest. Even if it's only on the last day of the raffle, I still feel people reserve the right to cancel it if it didnt go how they expected. It's not like you loose your entries if they cancel, you do get them back. 0 players like this post! Like? |
