Plot
Oregon’s Dog Rescue and Reserve has just recently gotten some new residents… One is a group of race track champions; sighthounds who had once belonged to the Phoenix track in Arizona, who lived their lives for the thrill of the chase and the rush of winning while running the winding track. Who just lost everything, family, friends, and the thing they were bred for after the track was shut down. The other one is a group of dogs who are just out of rehabilitation from their lives as fight dogs; all coming from the colder area of New York, where they lived their lives in aggression at the humans who held their chains and fear of the next fight that could be their last. Who just gained everything, they got their freedom and the ability to be free of men as they wished. Both of these groups of dogs had meet in the large reserve area of the ODRR but chose to stick to their specifically claimed territories. The humans, who rarely cared for the dogs, who filled the large bowls with food for them and changed their water before leaving without a care...have stopped arriving. With their disappearance, food has become scarce and the water is drying up. To survive these dogs, with polar opposite lives, morals, and standards, must band together if they want to live and escape while having a chance at survive outside these walls. The road to recovery and joining groups will be a long one and will be rocky, plus the risk of living within the forest is a dangerous one. But they made it this far? Who is to say they won’t survive if they go the distance to make it.


.:The Rules:.

- All LioDen rules apply.

- Godmodding and powerplay are not acceptable. The only characters you have the right to control are your own and no one here is invincible. You will be called out and warned if you do either. A repeat offender will be banned

- Mature content/18+ will need to either fade to black or be taken off site in compliance with LioDen’s roleplay rules. This would include mating, birthing or excessive gore/violence.

- This is intended to be an intermediate to advanced roleplay. You will be required to post at least one paragraph (5 sentences) and practice proper grammar. No one liners as they do nothing but stop the progression of the rp.

- Please be active. Inform me if you need to drop or take a hiatus.

- Do not use any artwork that you did not create yourself as a reference for your character unless it was specifically made for you. Please provide proof. Art theft will not be tolerated by me at all, if I find you lied about owning the art I will ban you from the rp.

- You may use photo references, but you MUST link back to the original source. I will not accept applications using unsourced or improperly sourced pictures. Tinypic, Pinterest and Photobuck generally do not count as original sources.

- You can have up to four characters per person. If you prove to be active than you may request a fifth character.

- Swearing is allowed, but don’t overdo it.

- We expect everyone to be polite to one another out of character. If you have a real problem with someone, PM me and I will get it sorted out.

- Limit 1x1 this is supposed to be a group roleplay. Give everyone a chance to respond before moving on. Wait two posts before you post again.

- If you managed everything than please copy this into your other section. “I have read and understood all the given rules, I know if I break them there are consequences that are in place and I will respect everyone.”!

- This RP is LGBTQ+ friendly. Don’t like it or have a problem with it then either ignore it or leave please. Discrimination will not be tolerated.

- No same character mates.

The top dog of the group, they make sure everything is in working order and assign Hunters to groups and give Scouts an area to search

Dogs who act as the left and right hand for the Champion. They often have medical knowledge of herbs and give advice to the Champion while keeping the Scouts informed.

Dogs who hunt, stalk, and capture prey for the groups as a way to keep everyone fed and healthy.

Dogs who look for new campgrounds and areas where food, water, and shelter are plentiful and humans are scarce. It is there job to keep the groups away from the city.

This is a dog with the lowest ranking in the group, they eat last and are often picked on the most by others. On the track, they rarely ran due to their fear of the gun and rabbit and were one of the dogs called a Spook by the humans.
