Have you ever been to art school :0 One of my professors LOVED gestures. Loved them. I had to do so many human gestures for that man. Anyway, wed have a nude model in front of us and we'd warm up drawing them. First, wed draw them in 15 second poses. Then one minute. Then 15. You draw people again and again and again SUPER FAST, to the point where you can tell what pose the person is in even if the drawings themselves are ugly. Prettiness doesnt matter. This is just for warm up and practice But it really helps for people! 0 players like this post! Like? |

I have practiced with drawing gestures! But I haven't gone to art school. I kind of always wanted to, but I wasn't ever sure. I was close to go to Cornish with a friend last year c: but took a gap year instead. I realize now that I should just do gesture drawing as practice for a few days and see where I come out. Hi I can't sleep  I remember my sis used some website that provides you with poses and is pretty much what you did Sariel?? like, draw this in 20 seconds, draw the next in a minute,etc etc. I can ask her about it when she's up, she drew traditionally but I think it should work fine digitally?
