Hey guys, sorry I haven't been posting here  @Alexandoria I agree with Isa! 1-2gb sounds good for recolors! --------- But here's what I've been working on 1 Trying to draw traditional AND actually finishing it  Really the only reason I always draw him profile view is because he does the bald eagle front view thing 2 I'm helping my mom's friend make valentine's day gift baskets, i have to paint and decorate  I would show pics but my computer is refusing to read my camera's SD card right now  3 Working on a long overdue YLH commission  I'm having trouble with the grass and I still need to draw the character, rip me 4 I have an art shop now! O: Raven, i see you're using Krita! If you don't mind, could I ask some questions about it? |D Having trouble adjusting to it from SAI. 1) Is there a blend tool? ; o ; I can't seem to find one solely dedicated to blending. I tend to stick to the wet brushes section. 2) Can you change the presets on brushes? It's irritating when you're drawing and you switch to a different brush, only to go back to your first one and it's at 100% opacity and size 50 D: 3) Is there a way to separate the eraser from the brush? Or uh. At least make it so that you can change the size of the eraser without changing the brush you're using? Thanks a bunch ; o ; 0 players like this post! Like? |

Silice I've tried out Xy's brushes, but as he said so himself, it works best in the program he's using. I can use them in Krita but they're a bit wonky to use and have to adjust a bunch I'll stick to drawing the grass individually Mei Hm even though I've used Krita for about a year now, I still haven't really explored deep into it 1. The thing I can think of is the 'Mix' and 'Smudge' Brushes? They're similar to blending but not exactly 2. You can edit the brush settings yeah, but once you overwrite the preset it'll make it into a separate brush than the original, sorry if that doesnt make sense Mess around with the settings  3. Whenever I erase I use the eraser on my pen tablet? so the eraser and brush are separate for me, so I guess it depends on what tablet you're using 0 players like this post! Like? |

I love that dragon(or monster/critter/whatever he is XD), Raven. Looks so awesome thus far Mei, I use Krita too(though I mainly use Sketchbook Pro), and I believe there are some blend brushes you can find and download. I have a few, but I completely forgot where I got them from. I'm currently working on this request of a tiger headshot. Kinda put me in the mood for drawing tigers, so I also ended up doodling my OC and her lion mate, link. 0 players like this post! Like? |
