So I have been working on a story and it has given me inspiration to start a roleplay. I've used a piece of it to give an idea of what this roleplay will kinda run like Rules - Lioden Rules -Black out -max of 4 characters unless female to male ratio is uneven -literate, atleast 5 sentences per character post -No god modding -Be respectful -Before crushing or being in a relationship with someone make sure they are okay with it -put Snoots in Other so I know you read the rules -if you don't respond within 3 days without notifying me that you'll be gone I will remove you. IF it was an emergency I can sort it out through messages. -No arguing IMPORTANT CHARACTERS NEEDED You've read the above piece. As the breeze flew by it carried a man's angry yelling. He bit his tongue, he was going to yell back but didn't want to use fowl language Infront of a lady. He sighed and Nich tries cheering him up by licking his hair. He chuckled to himself. "How about I walk you to a bed and breakfast, more homey than a hotel. I know a great one up the road, a nice old lady runs it and a guest would make her day." He used to stay there a lot when he was younger. That's where he first brought Nich when he found him. It's also where he got the name for him. The little lady would talk about a city surrounded by magical woods. It was a haven for people who were more than people. Plus, she didn't see any way that a nice old lady could make her mad enough to shift into her reptilian form. "Yeah, that sounds great." She responded before stepping to the side and motioning with her arm "Lead the way." She said with a small smile. Hopefully talking with Joseph along the way would lighten her mood a little. She hummed a happy tune while looking around at her surroundings. Her dark eyes eventually landed on a man running down the other side of the street. Curious, she tilted her head and watched him for a second. "Hey, you! Where are you going in such a hurry?" She asked. She didn't really care if she was interrupting something. "Hey, you! Where are you going in such a hurry?" She called. Rhys groaned, {great} he thought, another person to get mad at him because he was a mutant. He turned just in time to see a carving knife hurling through the air at him. His reflexes acted before his brain, his hand shot out. The wind bent at his will sending the knife flying back. "Are you going to answer me or-" Before she could finish her sentence, a knife was being hurtled at him, and he had somehow deflected it without touching it. It only took her a moment to figure out what happened, and when she did, a wide grin spread across her features. Another mutant! "That was pretty cool, but I bet I can do better." She teased, looking over her shoulder at the man who had thrown the knife. "That wasn't very nice of you. You could've killed him!" She yelled at the human as she ran. "That was the point! What are you going to do-" She didn't let the human finish before she waved her arm, and he fell to the ground, asleep. She let out a laugh as some of the people behind him tripped over his sleeping figure, and all the others paused in their tracks, freaking out because they thought she had killed him. "My house is a bit farther down the street. We should hide there until this all blows over." She said, looking to the other mutant "Now, c'mon, quickly! Before they figure out he's not dead." She grabbed his arm and began to speed up, her silver hair flying behind her. [Not really sure if her getting rid of that crowd of angry people is power-playing or not. Rhys couldn't help but laugh, he gave a small yelp as she grabbed his wrist, but he quickly caught on and began to run beside her. "I though I was the only one." He murmured, "Im Rhys by the way...uh thanks for getting rid of them. Humans just don't understand." He narrowed his eyes at the thought of them lashing out at him like that. He wondered if she lived here temporarily, it must be hard to not use her powers all the time. He felt kind of bad for making her use them like that. Rhys had a bad habit of using his powers at the wrong time, causing him to move around a lot, never in one place for too long. He jumped out of the way, pulling the girl with him as a bus roared past, the driver (a middle aged balding man) yelling unflattering things as he did so. [hope its okay, i've just edited Léo out...] [No thats fine :) It actually helped a lot as i was looking for a way to get rid of them] 0 players like this post! She couldn't tell him the truth, because she had no doubt that he'd freak out if he knew she had turned into a reptile and killed her ex-boyfriend. "I just wanted to explore a bit. My hometown is quite small, and while it is nice there, staying there for a really long time can get boring, so I decided to try something new for a couple of years. I plan to move back sometime, though." She lied, hoping she sounded convincing enough. "What about you? Why did you come here?" She asked, trying to change the subject off of her. "Well, I always had a suspicion that I wasn't the only mutant, but I didn't think I'd find another one so soon." She said, "It's nice to meet you, Rhys. I'm Calista. My power is Sleep Manipulation, if you haven't figured that out already." She quickly pulled him into her house and slammed the door shut behind her, locking it. She looked out the window, and once she was sure that they had lost the crowd of humans, she collapsed on her couch, letting out a heavy sigh. And I am I have the best friend and a simple life of a scientist." He pet Nich as he said Bestfriend. Nich mewed at the compliment. He looked over at the girl with a curious expression as he purred. "My hometown was small too, so being reminded by everyone hurt a little. But this open air and nice people make me feel better. It's food therapy." He rubbed the necklace he was holding. It held his mother's ashes. He had a secret he was reminded to not tell anyone. If he were to he'd surely die. But that was why he was searching for Nich Utopia. Her death was his fault and he couldn't face that. It wasn't even on purpose a freak accident. It hurt him but he knew he could hide. "Ahh I remember taking s class on it it was interesting. But I've been in school for awhile. I'm an ecologist and biologist right now and I'm studying to be a zoologist and astronomer. I'm working to reach a goal and it takes a lot," he chuckled to himself. He loves science and if he could be everything he would. He said, beginning to trail of, but soon continued at the inquisitive look in her eyes. "I saved a waitress who somehow managed to set the floor on fire, and this is the thanks I get." he gestured behind him to the window. He thought for a moment about her first comment, "I always new I wasn't the only mutant, I come from a small town in the south of England. Police came from the city a few miles away, they came looking for me and others like me."
