As many of you know, your Former Pride page is where you go to store all of your deceased lionesses (and if you didn't know this, go check it out, it's pretty awesome). For a lot of people, including myself, this is like laying a lion to rest, and therefore, it's a pretty big deal.

As makes sense, to store a lion beyond the set free amounts you get when you join, you need to pay a small fee of SB to gain another slot. This makes sense because it's additional information that the servers need to hold indefinitely. And while it may not seem like a lot on an individual basis, once you have several hundred of players doing it, it's going to add up. So to sum that little part up, this is not to contest that there is a price attached to gaining new slots in the Former Pride page.

Long term player are starting to run into a problem, though.

With each slot you purchase, the price goes up by 25 SB, a rather modest sum when you think of all that data that's now being stored. However. When you reach around the 1200 SB mark, the price switches to 1GB and stays there. That's a problem.

I don't know about you guys, but I can't always rely on other members to have GB for trade, that the current market price for GB is steady at 1200SB (and there are certain events during the year which historically have seen GB prices go through the roof), or that I can afford to donate personally.

So what I suggest is this. Have the option to pay either the 1200 SB or the 1 GB. This frees up the player to continue storing their beloved lionesses while still paying the fee. SB is the main currency of the site and should remain an option on one of the site's most important aspects.

Along with GB/SB prices, include a monthly currency from that month's event.

Not sure that it would be practical in the long run and for one large reason. The prides have little if anything to do with the monthly event (aside from the breeding in the events every so often). I also feel that, from a coding sense, this would be a very large undertaking and the overall aim of this thread is to make life easier, and to me, that includes staff as well.
