~Den Icon Meanings~
--This means your lion is leaving at the next rollover. The lion might be hungry or unhappy (see below), or you might not have enough space for them.
-To get more space for a lioness, you can buy territory by clicking the '+' symbol on your den page. Territory costs SB at first, and once you get to 40 territory, you have to pay in GB. Male cubs need Sub Male slots instead of territory slots. You can also purchase them on your den page.
-Alternatively, you can fight other players for territory by scrolling down to the bottom of a rival's den page and selecting the 'Territory' option. Again, you can only do so until you get 40 territory spaces.
-- This means your lion is hungry. You can get food by sending lionesses hunting, from exploring, and buying from other players. Feed a lion by clicking a carcass in your hoard and selecting the lion's name from the dropdown list.
-- This means your lion is unhappy. You need to play with it by clicking the 'play' button on the lion's page. You can also use amusement items such as feathers and skulls to improve a lion's mood.
-- Your lion needs to level up! They've got enough EXP to advance to the next level, you can do so by clicking the 'Level Up!' button on their page.
-- Your lioness is on a cooldown of some sort, most likely a breeding cooldown.
-- Your lioness is in heat! Provided she's happy and fed, you can breed with her by clicking the 'breed' button on her page.
-- Your infertile lioness is in heat! You can still breed with her, but you'll need to use a Chasteberry (bought from the quest snake in explore) to raise her fertility.
-- This symbol tells you it's the first day of your lioness's pregnancy.
-- This symbol tells you it's the second day of your lioness's pregnancy.
-- This symbol tells you it's the third day of your lioness's pregnancy. She will give birth the next rollover. Don't forget to nest her!
-- Your lioness doesn't have a nest! Without one, her cubs may not survive their birth. Feathers are a good source of nesting material, you need six uses. You can buy a ready-made nest from Monkey Business too!
-- This cub is unprotected! Cubs need to be assigned a broodmother if you want them to survive to be adolescents. You can choose a lioness to be your broodmother, she can protect 5 cubs (6 if she's Nurturing), and will ensure the cubs survive.
-- This cub is in danger of dying at rollover! It's unprotected and can get into accidents which lower their survival rate. If your broodmother doesn't have enough room, you can buy a Hornbill Majordomo from Monkey Business to protect your cubs.
-- This lioness is a broodmother! She's keeping the cubs you assign to her nice and safe. She can't hunt while being a broodmother, however she will gain EXP from protecting cubs. This icon alone means the broodmother has no available space to protect cubs.
* -- This broodmother has space to protect cubs.
-- This lioness has been set to the role of Hunter, meaning she is eligible to catch food for her pride on the Hunting page. You can set all lioness to Hunter by scrolling to the bottom of the Hunting page, and set individual lionesses to Hunter on their page.
-- This lion is up for sale/trade.
-- This lion is frozen. It's immortal, and can never age, get hungry, or unhappy.
-- This lion is secured. Securing a lion hides the chase/kill/reserve/abandon buttons so you don't accidentally get rid of the wrong lion. You can secure or unsecure by scrolling to the bottom of the lion's page. |
