Hi guys, this is my first open public RP! Just fill out a form, explaining your character, and just join in! P.S. Images/links of your characters are encouraged :)      Side Note: If for any reason you are not able to RP at a given time when your characters have not participated in quite a while, i will assume their role. I will not remove you from the RP, as this is for fun, and you obviously also have other lives outside Lioden, but i will perform basic actions with them (e.g. Lion hung around, listening intently to the king's conversation. - or - Lion1 watched as Lion2 crossed the cave, neither saying a word.) Things like that. {Sure!} Lucifer arrived at The Great Tree, lead by the two males. To say the least, the great tree did surprise him. It's trunk was large and thick, sprouting from the earth, and it stretched up as far as the eye could see. Lucifer wouldn't be surprised if it reached to the heavens, and it's roots must've descended as far below as hell itself. It's branches held large collections of lush green leaves, which would be good shelter from the harsh rays of sunlight. He couldn't help but notice little fireflies floating around, this place must look pretty at night. His travelling 'companion' must have been in similar awe, as his mouth hung open in shock of it's sheer beauty. Blinking, Lucifer remembered why he was here. "So, are we gonna get on with it or what?" He questioned, feigning boredom. 0 players like this post! Like? |

Chetani bristled at Lucifer's tone, but it was Brass that spoke to him. "This way," he said, leading the way towards the already large groups of lions, all different sizes, colours and shapes. "The King will address everyone soon, but until then, you may socialise if you wish," he said, pointing to the groups. "There are also sales. If you are interested, you may talk to my mother, Laie." he gestured towards an almost white lioness in one of the far groups, surrounded by cubs and items. "Have fun," he said, before turning with his brother to continue on their own. {It's fine, totally understand!} "Socialise." Lucifer huffed, but restrained himself from saying anything else. He still thought that no one was really that interesting or worth his time, he just didn't say it. The flock of ravens had returned to perch on him, although they were quiet too and held their tongues. Lucifer sat down, out of the way of anyone who wanted to walk by. He was patient enough to wait for the king to adress everyone, but if the speech was as gruelling as Azurine had mentioned, he doubted this new found patience would last long. Instead, he just watched the wide variety of lions and lionesses walk around. 0 players like this post! Like? |

While Lucifer was out 'enjoying' the festivities, Azure was arguing with her father. "But Father, you have warned me time and time again of this lion- he is merciless, and does not respect those who he should. Why would you allow him here, tonight of all nights?" She argued, pleading with her father against allowing Lucifer in their territory. Kalin sighed, turning to his daughter from where he was sorting through the feast arrangements with a Helper. "I cannot banish him from my lands without fair cause, Azu," he reminded her, yet again. "You must also remember that you promised you would do this. You must try to be civil. At least for tonight,"he reasoned, as the other lioness left with his orders. She huffed, not pleased with his answer, but knowing better than to argue further. "Fine," she snapped, turning and stalking out of the den before her father could reprimand her, eyes glowing with agitation as she exited into the crowded clearing, the cool night air crisp and sweet to her senses. 0 players like this post! Lucifer got up, he might as well try to do something. Well, he didn't really think so until his starving friend worked up enough courage to tell him to do so. Not wanting to be deemed boring, he set off without the male to find something to do. One of the lions from earlier had mentioned that their mother was selling their wares, so he might as well see if he could buy something to bring back to his pride, his Queen would definitely appreciate that. Lucifer made his way over to the white lioness, taking his time. As he came face to face with her, he offered the lioness a polite smile, before asking, "Hello there, might I browse what you have for sale? If you can, could you possibly pick out something for my Queen? I can see that you share a sense of royalty like my Queen does, therefore it shall not be hard for you I assume." Lucifer smiled again. He couldn't help but try to charm people, it would be worth his while to be known as polite and charming, to make up for his more disliked qualities. 0 players like this post! Like? |

Lucifer observed her sort through her items, picking through them until she had a pile of extremely shiny objects. He looked over them carefully, making sure he checked each item. One item in particular caught his eye. It was a bracelet, in it was a moonstone polished to perfection. It shone beautifully, it was imbued with the feeling of peacefulness. "Excuse me, how much are you wanting for this?" He asked politely, although he did feel guilt rising in the depths of his stomach. He did have lionesses in his pride, lots of them, but only one Queen. She didn't match him at all, she was kind, and he was far from it. He disliked her, to say the least, and he was sure she disliked him. He had only agreed for her to be his Queen since she had the mottled mark, whereas she probably only agreed to become his Queen for the riches. It truly was not an admirable relationship. He was not buying for her. Definitely not. Instead, he was going to keep it until he truly found his Queen. So, perhaps it wasn't a complete lie. 0 players like this post! Like? |

But as this is such a special event, and I have had many wealthy customers tonight, I may only ask for 150 silver beetles, if I may,” she said politely. Lucifer informed politely, taking the bracelet and storing it away, before giving Laie two golden beetles. Sure, he was a wealthy lion, so it didn't really matter to him on what he spent his money on. "Thank you for your help, it has been a pleasure talking to you, but I must leave now. Have a nice day." Lucifer announced, before turning and walking off. He came across the starved lion, who seemed to nod curtly at him. Lucifer sat down next to him, before giving him another rabbit carcass, but this time larger. The lion once again took it gratefully, but he did wonder why Lucifer was in such a good mood today. Azure had stalked back to the great tree, observing the crowds as she calmly waited for her anger to subside. She recognized many, as her Father was a well-known figure amongst the community, but the extent of unknown males that had turned up was making her a little nervous. It was when she was searching for her brood-mother, Laie, to comfort her that she saw the exchange between her and the brute from earlier that day. The shock she received was not from him apparently socializing, but from the fact that he was getting along with the older lioness. Curiosity raising it’s well, curious, head, she decided to move towards them, in the hope that she might overhear their conversation. But before she drew close enough, Lucifer had handed the merchantess a handful of gold beetles, and returned to his poor companion, to which Azure paused, unsure of whether she wanted to approach him or not. But from the amount of unfamiliar lions increasing by the minute, she decided she’d take her chances with him. 0 players like this post! Lilith Lilith watched as lioness and kings from all over walked around the great tree she considered showing herself to some but quickly decided against it she was the daughter of a now dead king and was being searched for by many and all of these lions looked important. She couldn't really tell as her father had spent his days breeding rather then interacting with his lionesses. The only thing he had ever done for her is introduce her to Asher his heir who she was supposed to meet days ago.
