@Tale Our Pitbull Murphy can reach speeds up to 32 and a little higher miles per hour (I know this because he chases the four wheeler). He is a very lean American Pitty, mean while Bubba is a tank and does weight pulling aside from visiting the children hospital. If you thinking of giving your dog a job like a service or a sport or even just giving them a little dog packpack to carrier around. I certainly recommend it, it leads to a happy healthy dog I really recommend rescue too, they are not hard to train because we have been training them to to great things from sports to police force etc. That are there has been way more cases of pure-bred puppies like Golden and Labs getting cancer and brain tumors more then mutt like dogs or mix breed Bullies. It's sad but that's what inbreeding has done 0 players like this post! Like? |

Honestly. There's different breeds for different people . Bully breeds aren't my favorite, although they're good for other people. I prefer mixes of hounds,Weimaranrrs,Dobermans and other barrel breeds. Each mutt and breed has specific qualities that fit differently to separate people. While all have individual personalities, you'll usually fund similarities in certain breeds. All of my dogs are rescues as well. I've got four, soon to be five. 0 players like this post! Like? |

I've had three, but currently only have one, she's a 14 year old Staffordshire bull terrier mix (We never knew what her dad was, just the mother) I've had her since she was a few months old! 0 players like this post! Like? |

aw good for you! I love meeting people who love rescuing and helping out other dogs. See what I love about bullies is that they come in all shapes and sizes and it endless. Our youngest is very lean, and sleek he is quite beautiful and many people ask and hope that he isn't fixed. Unfortunately he is. While one is like medium shes very fast but she has muscle and the other two are like freaking tanks. Yeah for me I find Dobermans kind of not handsome.....that and I don't agree with docking their tails as their tails is a dogs main way of communication. I love all dogs and if someone was like I found this Doberman on the side of the road I would be like "THIS IS HIS NEW HOME." I just don't find them pretty I guess, I still love dogs though. That and I like my dogs to have variety in color. Like Labs come in three colors and same with Golden, they kind off all look the exact same except for their bone structure...sometimes though. Dogs that come in one color and one color only or like three colors just bore me...or for better words I don't find them as fun if that makes sense... @Druid Yay another lover of bullies! and aw old dogs are so cute. 0 players like this post! Lol. I'm a mutt fan as well. I can see docking for health reasons. Some dogs have such thin tails, that it's necessary to dock them so they don't break as easily. It depends on the dog and its bone structure though. Color doesn't matter to me. Its all build, athletic abilities and personality for me. 0 players like this post! Like? |

I know they're nicknamed 'bullies' but they're usually just softies looking for attention XD Like my dog literally saved a rabbit, another dog was trying to hurt it so she growled at the dog and didn't leave the rabbit until she knew the other dog was gone! 0 players like this post! Like? |

Yeah my mom specializes in dog psychology and she we adopt a lot. I am not saying that Pitties are the best and such and yes people do have their own preference but we encourage for people to adopt because there is just so many dogs and the majority of them are Bully type breeds or look like them. We own six and only one isn't a Staff or APT, and all three of our fosters right now are Bully breeds. We have only had like three non bully dogs come into our house for fostering. Someone at my school was just going on about how Breeds have set personalities. For example she was talking about Pitbulls. It just irks me, because a dog is a dog they aren't a breed, Yes they are a breed but that doesn't determine the way they will be that is your choice. That is like the number one rule with most trainers that my mom works with. My mom works with dog trainers from the police station and the police have been adopting from shelters and using Pitbulls instead of paying thousands of dollars on German Shepard, Dobermans, Belgium Shepard's, your common police dogs....although Dobermans are a lot less common now as they don't really fit they job as well as other breeds. etc. I recently noticed that I rarely see them anymore.. And this is happening in the US too so it is looking very exciting for sheltered dogs in North America! My mom has been training a few for some police dog work here. Again many are Staffs or APT. @BalckFlame ever gone dog sledding? @Druid aw thats so cute yeah Bubbha is just a real love bug, So is our other four and our fosters. 0 players like this post! Like? |

My friend has a staffie boy and he's adorable, he treated my dog as his mother and it was so cute, but he eventually grew almost twice her size as she's a cross and he's male! She's still the boss though :P XD 0 players like this post! Like? |

I have, actually. Team was mostly Alaskan huskies though. Not Greenland, mallys or Siberian huskies. Breeds do have set specifics like prey drive, wariness, things that have been bred in them over years. However people often mistake those for personalities when they aren't. Every personality from every dog is completely unique. I'll likely be getting a Dobbie/Weimaraner mix in January. Breed searching really just depends on the person.currently I have a Bully/Patterdale: Female: 4 years: Pheobe : black with white irish GSD/Bully: Male: 3 years: Legend :fawn with white irish Plush GSD/Chow: Female: 13 years: Sweetpea : Black & Tan Weimaraner/American Lab: Female: 11 years: Issybelle :solid black 0 players like this post! I don't think she looks green but I do think she looks very odd. Lol. Oh - finally bred Enyo, she's only got one cub but I can't wait to see it! (also... one seems to be my magic number right now... All the breedings I don't care about end up with 4 cubs but all the ones I really really want to have lots have 1! Ugh... I just hope those single cubbins pay off...) 0 players like this post! I think it's the purple-ish color blending with the cream that looks that way xD 0 players like this post! Like? |
