Hi, I am RottAndArtist #28971 (long story behind that name, LOL) and you can call me Rott. Thanks for letting me join your clan. I don't belong to very many, but I am active in them and really like to make friends and network within them. I run the "Goofy Goobers" can which has no real purpose except to make folks laugh whenever we can- to be Goofy Goobers. :)

What are you? I have a Piebald Celestial Stud, which has inadvertently made me a mutation breeder because it can increase the chance of females throwing muties. I really love the silly mild mutations like the females with 'manes' like the silky one... but I have always shied away from breeding for mutations because they come with complicated consequences for me, as I found out when I had one born early today (or yesterday, technically) I was around when we were all waiting to see the FIRST mutation, (which was heartbreaking, as Chernobyl was a multi limbed baby no one knew if it would live very long and there was no jellyfish back then either!) So I am more a watcher than a breeder.

Do you have a VLF friendly stud you would like to add to the stud list? Technically no- I would like to think I am more friendly than some, but I get really upset that part of mut-breeding is that you pay someone else to use all their energy on your female, but then you get the 'reward' and a lot of times, people 'stud race' where they put in with multiple males and only the one who 'gets it' gets paid, and that is so very unfair. I DID breed a bunch of low fert girls this month, and I am regretting it, because I had planned to buy ice applicators, and now don't have enough stinkbugs. :/ I think that's kind of crazy and sad... I'll still breed VLF's, but I am going to have to be more realistic about whose VLF I will just keep pouring energy into, if it is an event I want the currency for- My record number of Tries? It took me - 87- tries. ....so while I might draw the line more some months, other times I don't mind because it's not important to me. Best to just ask me! It seems like mut breeding is a hard thing to do without riding this ethical issue. :(

Have you ever owned a mutie? I own some mane silky girls, and of course, Piebalds out the wazoo pop up right now... but until now I have avoided anything too big. A lioness popped this lovely girl on me, and it made my world CRAZY because I could not obtain a Jellyfish to 'save' her and preserve her... so I decided it would be best to Auction her off to Mutie lovers. She's why I joined, in case more accidents pop up, I will better know who can take it and appreciate it, who has a jellyfish already to use if they buy it, or wants it in their dynasty, etc.

She is available for Auction until tomorrow, as this is a 5 day/month Lethal Mutation. My goal is to place her/sell her by tomorrow. Hopefully the objects and GB she brings in will allow me to breed more piebalds and achieve my goal of breeding some Celestials to replace all the ones who have died out over the last year- Celestials have become nearly impossible to breed!

What's your dream mutie? I Don't know that I have a favourite, because of the inequity of the way you have to obtain a Jellyfish to 'keep' them- if Conjoined Cubs didn't die, maybe that (I mean, conjoined twins don't often die early, so... wth.) ...I might like the eyeless if I could use something like the blindfold decor to make them an honored part of the pride- but like most folks I love the Leopons... maybe because my fav. big cat is the Jaguar and Leopards are not far from that, I probably just like them for the uniqueness of their poses and body shape. :P I wouldn't run out and buy one. :/ I can't afford that either, for sure! LOL. I'll just stick to admiring from afar, I guess. If I have any Mane Silky/Fuzzy/Scruffy girls born, I'll probably keep 'em. :)

....so.... all that is kind of depressing, somehow. I dunno, I swear when weird things aren't happening I am a lot more fun. :P

...and this is the "Anti-Sad Lioness (the third)" ...whenever depression and gloom take over, I kind of stop playing and look for a decor to add to her. It's weird, but in a way she is like one of those semicolon tattoos... Every bit of decor on her (or those her predecessors had!) are a "win" against a mood so dark and icky that it might have turned to suicidal thoughts. It wouldn't work for everyone, but it seems to work for me- at least to keep me from not playing because of NON-game depression. In game, eh. You have to deal with it somehow to make it go away. Games are supposed to be fun.

I recently came across a few gb. I was deciding between buy CRB and buying muties in hopes they would pass it on. Any opinions?

Also if I bred my achromia to another achromia what are the chances of producing another one?

Mutations aren't genetic like that, except for OG fur and Piebald- your best bet to breed muties is go for the CRB

Breeding an Achromia to another Achromia does not increase your chances to get another Achromia whatsoever
