Hey guys, it’s been a while since I last posted. I’m looking forward to the groupie event when I can groupie replace my beloved skyward and I may have finally figured out a design for my side king. Do you guys prefer Nacre, Asiatic, Cairngorm or Hematite for a base if you were going to pick a stud? My design works well with any one of them. @Grinch congrats on your Madagascar! It’s a cutie. ![]() Edited on 25/03/18 @ 15:45:04 by Mysterion❓ (#23455) |

@Mysterion I would definitely lean toward Asiatic, then Cairngorm personally. :) ![]() |

@ Mysterion - I tend to think like Cerrates! Then Nacre... then Hematite. :) ![]() |

Hey, can anyone explain groupie replacement to me...or what groupies even are? I feel like I missed something while I was on hiatus last year ^^ ![]() |

@Valana The new (as of last year) May event story line introduced a new kind of NCL that can be wooed through the event page once a day during the may event called a Groupie. They are essentially swooning fans of your prowess in the arena. They can potentially have special markings or bases, even July bases (but not Kimanjano, mottled rosette, and I think one or two others). Some of these groupies are like regular NCLs (females over 2 years) but some can be Adol males. Like NCL, the adol males are heritageless, so if you use them to stat replace your king it can make your king heritageless. They are pretty much the only way to make your king truly heritageless if he is not fresh rolled. In Hard Mode, you are allowed to use groupies to make your king heritageless IF he was bred following Hard Mode rules. This way you can stud him to other hard mode players, and it is also useful for keeping your lines clean if you also wish to breed clean lines. You may not, however, use a Groupie to make a non-hard mode lion heritageless. :) ![]() |

Hey, does anyone in the clan have a HM compatible primal king currently available for studding? ![]() |

I’ve got a question about hardmode breeding. I’ve decided that when I replace my skyward eventually (Likely after I groupie replace him), I’m wanting to replace him with a different king that is 2nd generation. Say I decided to breed a daughter of my previous king to an outside rolled/heritageless stud, would her cub be eligible to replace the different king in the future? I love the skyward boy I currently have but I’d like to eventually get a skyward with different markings and a somewhat different design sometime in the future. Breeding a daughter of his seems to me the best way to do this if I’d be allowed to king said lioness’s son. ![]() Edited on 27/03/18 @ 09:56:48 by Mysterion❓ (#23455) |

@Mysterion I think that, as long as the future king is either 2nd gen or the result of your own breeding with 1st gen and their descendants of your pride you're fine. ![]() |

@Mysterion Berenos is correct. What you're describing would be fine ^_^ ![]() |

Ah okay, great! Now I’ll be able to feel okay about holding onto a possible female skyward if one is born in my pride. <3 ![]() |
