I am confused about the "Lion Stats" section of this game. First, I don't understand how each stat is more or less important than the next one. For instance, is it better to be Smart or Agile? I have already determined that the stats are awarded randomly or, at least, their allotment is out of my control, which is just frustrating.

Anyway, my lion has 112 overall stat points. Its three highest stats are stamina, speed, and skill. I just had it battle for more skill points against a lion that had only 90 overall stat points and he lost. To make this all the more irritating, my lion had the Shaman's "battling strength boost" blessing. So, what am I doing wrong? What am I missing?

My lion has been loosing against all lions that are even remotely close to his overall stat points. He isn't competitive against anyone that is over 80 skill points, and I just don't get it.

Also, how do you improve a lion's stats through breeding? Do you have to wait for the Shamans' "5% stat boost to his cubs in his next breeding," or do you train your lion until he can't train anymore and then his cubs will be stronger? How much of the lioness' stats are factored into the cubs' stats?

Lastly, is there a guide out there that actually explains the mechanics of this game and what the stats really do? Like, what is "Skill" and "Smarts" and how do they help my lion in battling when all he does is swipe or grab or claw?

Sorry for asking so many questions. I am becoming a little frustrated with this game and I am finding it hard to locate a good guide to explain what I want explained. Please respond if you know anything.
