While our beloved Murphy always tells us to slay something within out current capabilities, he doesn't apply the same policy to the item search quests: it's been now two times that he asks for an owl feather that I cannot possibly get because the encounter is located in a zone I cannot access in my current level.

While it is true that we could either spend SB to either try our luck with the toy bundles or buy a snake skull to abandon that particular quest - or be lucky enough to find it among the elephant dung -, it'd be nice if there was some kind of limiting feature implemented that told that sneaky snake that we cannot get x owl feather because they drop in a zone we can't go yet.
