Time dragged on seemingly endless. Back and forth exodus continued to watch the two pups fighting in the pit. She was getting bored of this, how unfortunate for them to not know that this was no game and at the current moment they were fighting for their lives. "Enough" she bellowed. Her unexpected reaction took her pack by suprised as they seemed to jump in shock. She got up off her haunches and jumped down into the pit. It wasn't very deep at all, but it was designed for pups to keep them in. She roughly grabbed both pups by the scruffs of their necks and made her way out of the pit. She threw them into the snow "Did you think this was a game" she growled. The pups cowered In fear, keeping silent "Answer me" She snapped. "B-buts.. We thought it w-was" one spoke up. Exodus snapped her fangs at him "your survival is not a game" she seethed. The pups whimpered in fear, "is Y-you gonna h-hurts us?" The other questioned. Exodus stared at him, her cold gaze never flinching. "No" She replied. Yes she was savage and cruel but unlike him.. She didn't kill pups, she taught them. Showed them how precious survival was. "We're finished here, go off and play with the others" she muttered turning away. "Yes Alpha" the said in unison with a now before running off to the other pups who played by the logs.

Exodus padded threw the woods quietly. Alone time was exactly what she needed and maybe a hunt could suffice her boredom. She looked up into the trees, birds fluttered making their usual nosies which were sometimes almost startlingly. But nobody could know this side, this side of exodus that she preferred to keep to herself.. The more normal side.

Akiko rushed through the cold forest, leaping on rocks, one by one. Her belt pelt covered in the loose snowflakes that fell from the pines above her. Her jaws panted, but her legs kept running, climbing ledges keeping her eye on her target: a winter hare. Her tongue retreated back into her mouth as her teeth formed a fierce snarl like growl at the frightened creature. Her haunches lowered a bit as the creature climbed up a hill, leaping at the creature. Her jaws clomped at the creature, but missed, or so it thought. Her massive claw filled paws held the panicked creature in a tight grasp as she tore its neck, completing her kill. She scoffed and sat with a slight 'thump' lifting snow up then back to the white blanket. "Well, practice went...awful." she mumbled, shaming herself at how slow she caught the rabbit. Her fangs wrapped the creature as she stood and carried the soft limp carcass towards her pack. Her head held high, ears perked, her pastel eyes facing forwards.

"Do you always shame yourself?" Exodus called out from on top of a boulder she had sat up, in which case to stare at the beautiful scenery before her. She jumped down swiftly. "It was but a mere hare was it not?" She questioned, her voice calm yet it held a kind of darkness.

Akiko's ear turned to theside, just as her head did to face the wolf that stood close to her. "Yes, it was, but you must be quick, and swift at catching your prey faster... Or so I've been told." she spoke, her voice quite calm withe eagerness as well as a muffle. She dropped the limp body in between her legs as she turned around fully to face the wolf. Her leader. Her black pelt shimmered in the seeps of sunlight that shown through the cracks of the leaves and branch held high in the pines. Her fur keeping rhythm with the cold wind.

Exodus stared at her. "Get up" she ordered. Her voice had turned harsh which always seemed to be the case when addressing her wolves. "What you say is true, silence is also a need, if you are not silent, swiftness will not be of help, startlingly prey is more like a pre warning" she spoke. Maybe everything she was saying was stupid but for her silence was everything, it kept her alive.

Akiko bowed her head, but lifted it and stood. Her chest held highish as her ears perked. Her eyes focused on what laid in front of her, which was Exodus. Her stomach making light breaths, as her fur kept at it with the wind moving gracefully, yet rough. Her tail laid between her legs, limp. She gave a nod to the end of her leaders words, showing she had been listening yo every word she had spoke.

Exodus stared at her. "Tomorrow" she spoke. "Come find me tomorrow and we will continue, for now.. Keep practising" she voiced, her tone softer this time. "Bring me back a hare Akiko" she ordered. "If by sunset you return without a hare.. You will be punished" she growled at the end. She turned and padded of back towards the pack, she could never leave them alone for too long.

Akiko watched the wolf trot away, her vision looking up at the sky. Her ears flattened as the sun was going to set soon, and prey is scare do to the snow making her heart pump more. She dug a hole and barred the hare she had caught before and bolted into the forest once more.

Her pants softened as she slowed and sniffed the air. Her ears perked, moving side to side every heart beat she made. Finally her nose caught a scent, making her follow it only to find it was a field mouse already bounding away. Her muscles loosened as she relaxed, her face marked with annoyance and frustration. She started her quest at sniffing once more, picking up no scent.

It had been a few moments, even minutes until she finally caught the scent she needed. She stalked the hare, ears flat, eyes locked. Her tail lolowereand steadied to not swoosh the snow that sat beneath her. Her stalking was interrupted by a gush of wind blown from behind her, giving the hare her scent. Her face snarled as the rabbit darted off it's haunches. She chased after it, paws seeping into the cold snow. Her vision glared up at the sky as she ran. The sun lowered. She ran faster and faster, finally leaping onto the prey, quickly scurrying towards the pack, as well as digging up the other one and running once more, hoping; praying she'd make it before sunset.

Exodus let out warning growl at two pack members who began fighting with one another. They stopped and bowed respectfully. She decided to watch the pups. They seemed to tussle and play fight with one another. Exodus took over this pack by fighting, she wanted to rule the throne, these wolves would be lost without her. She looked towards the sun, it was still up but was getting low. In all honesty she wasn't doing this to help Akiko, she was doing this to keep her alive, she was out thier all alone and even though she knew where her pack was, exodus wasn't there to help her, this was her time to show not exodus, but herself that she was not a failure whence came to hunting.

Akiko gripped tighter onto the two rabbits necks, digging her claws into the ground giving her a big push forward. Akiko slid, but continued running. Managing to burst into the pack, slowing into a trot with the two winter hares clamped into her panting jaws. Once she realized her stance, she quickly straightened up, chest held high, ears perked, eyes showing no emotion, no matter the cost. Her jaws still held the limp carcasses, making her upper legs want to collapse from all the running, but she held her position.

Exodus turned her head as Akiko burst threw the pack. She stared at her "I said one did I not?" Wolves fell silent and began to gather. She got up and stalked towards her, the other wolves backed off a bit as tension filled the air. "When I say something you listen" she growled, her fur bristled and her cold gaze never leaving Akiko. The others began to growl and snarl at Akiko. "Enough" Exodus snarled. They fell silent yet again and watched in wait.

Lues' ears perked forward, at the sudden silence and raised himself to his paws to go and watch. Wincing slightly as his leg twinged with pins and needles from taking a nap earlier, the black and grey adolescent trotted to stand with the other wolves, his tail lowered and head level. Who was in trouble now? He felt sure it was Akiko, seeing her dark pelt through the shield of the rest of the pack. His leg was still tingly so he turned slightly and raised his leg to nibble at his paw pads to try and relieve the weird feeling and stopped as quick as possible to resume watching
