Akiko stood, silent. Her black pelt gently blowing with the evening wind. Her eyes focused on the now harsh talking leader, her body flinched, but her mind stayed calm. Did I not bring something back...? It's still way better then nothing. She thought to herself, not daring to speak it out loud. She made light breaths, her tail getting picked up in the wind as did her black and white pelt. Her pastel eyes shifting every few moments, but not leaving Exodus. Her heart began making quick thumps as her leader hushed the hounds that were snarling and growling at her. She did not understand one bit why Exodus was upset with her bringing two, the pack needed a lot of food considering the snowy weather making most prey complicated and hard to find. Her sleek pelt began to shimmer as the clouds removed from the Suns view to make it's rays hit on her body. Her ears twitched ever so often.

Exodus stared at her. "Know this Akiko" she paused for a moment before continuing. "I'm not impressed but bringing two hares instead of one is good. Yet there are at the least 16 of us, maybe even more.. What will two hares do for all of us hmm?, not everyone gets to eat. I just wanted you to get one to.. Reward you for your efforts. But fear not, the pups will share one hare and you shall have the other" she spoke calmly. Wolves whined and whimpered but Exodus ignored them.

His ears flattened slightly, his tail giving a slight shift as he nosed his way forward a bit to see better and earned a soft nip from another wolf. Lues knew he wasn't necessarily a pup anymore but could probably try and play the disability pity card and get a few bites of hare in. Whining a bit in anticipation, the young wolf back up a bit, back to his original place among the others, not wanting to be pulled from the crowd. He didn't really understand why Exodus was upset about the two hares versus only one, but her rules were strict and her rules were law and swift punishment was guaranteed.

Exodus turned her head towards one of the wolves, who nipped at one of the younger ones. Swiftly she leapt at him and pinned him in the snow, baring her fangs. He whimpered in fear "I will rip out your throat" she seethed with a snarl. She got off him and he quickly got up and bowed submissively. "Sorry Alpha" he mumbled. She settled her cold gaze on the younger wolf yet did not speak. In her pack and in her mind, there were no ranks. No one had a rank, she was Alpha and that was it.

Akiko bowed her head to Exodus, leaning towards the few pups that scampered closely towards her, dropping one, while still holding the other one. As she lifted her head, she noticed the apprentice whimpering slightly through the crowd her ears perked, but she stood straight to face the leader, "If I must," she began. "I can hunt more, Alpha." She stated, her now pale eyes focused on Exodus. Her ears flickered to the erupt of whimpers through the pack, slightly annoyed with all of the food begging. Yes, food is hard to find, but there's no need to beg from others, but she did have a slight soft feeling for the whimpering apprentice just because they were young. She glared at them through the corner of her eye, though still focused on Exodus.

"No" she replied Facing Akiko once again. "Tomorrow morning, we leave and trek north, the caribou and deer have migrated there." The truth was.. Exodus had been in this place too long, she was very much fimiliar with OakWood peak she needed to leave, he wasn't here to corrupt her mind anymore. She looked at her pack, she fought to be their leader, because she wanted power.. But these wolves were loyal to her and she couldn't abandon them. She turned and walked away. "Tommorow" she called out.

The black wolf nearly yelped as the Alpha leapt at the wolf who at nipped him, and he moved his paws back in the snow, to the point where he ended up sitting. Looking up at Exodus, feeling her cold gaze chill him to his very bones even more than the snow that was currently freezing his ass, he did his best to hold his position, breath coming out in soft puffs in the frozen air. He respected her immensely, everyone did really, but he admired how she had beaten anyone who challenged her and thought of her reign as the best that ever was...even it was the only one he had been a part of.

She nodded and walked away. Her tail bouncing behind her as she threw up snow from her paws. She climbed up a small boulder and rested the limp body in her arms, turning her vision towards Lues. Her ears twitched slightly. She sighed and picked up the body, hopping off the rock and trotted towards Lues dropping the dead rabbit in front of them. "You'll need it more then me." She muttered twitching her ears as she stared at the small creature before her. Sometimes it surprised her that some wolves were actually smaller then her, then again only few were. Aside of her size, she could still tear your throat out if she wanted to, or she would try. Her sleek black and white fur blew gently as she walked with a lowered head back towards her boulder.

Exodus left the pack to do their own thing. Though she would never admit it She cared about these wolves. She took the pups in to give them a better chance at survival and the more older wolves were just like her, just trying to fight to stay alive. No one wanted to die at the paw of Him.. she shivered at the very thought. Everyone one has a fear.. Her's was the wolf who made her into the monster she is today. She let out a sigh and laid down under a tree. Today she needed to rest.

Alath lifted her head, looking out towards the drama, pinning a pup she was wrestling before backing away from them. Her ears pinned back in brief spite before she turned away. Huffing, cream helmeted head lowered to the ground as she skulked away. Avoiding eye contact with Exodus, her teeth bared slightly as she scurried by. A small shuffle in submission, she had picked up on this just by watching how older wolves moved when dominate canines were around. Though once she was far from the older ones her posture straightened to a bold stance, head held high as she surveyed the surroundings.

"Oh. Thanks." Lues muttered and bent down to take a bite of the hare, and after a few bites, left it up to the rest nearby. He wasn't exactly heartless...but close to it and although he did leave the half-eaten hare to the wolves(literally) he had already eaten most of the good stuff inside before he had left. Now with a slight dent in his hunger, the formerly multi-limbed wolf decided he would walk around the territory, get his mind clear and possibly find food. The latter of which seemed impossible now that the wind had started to pick up and the snow was falling of the trees in sheets large enough to crush a small wolf like him underneath. Nevertheless, after a good shake of his ratty pelt, Lues started off into the woods, blinking snow out of his eyes and slight shivers down his spine.

Exodus couldn't sleep. She hauled herself onto her paws and decided to roam the woods for a few hours. The birds were silent, that was one thing she noticed.. No it was dead silent, nothing moved. The trees looked like they were frozen, but she knew that was not the case. Something was wrong.. Very wrong. Her ears alert and her posture stiff, she stalked cautiously. She was not alone in these woods. Even he had warned her. "Stay out of the woods Exodus" he snapped as he ran towards quickly picking her up swiftly and trudging back towards the pack. She frowned, she was a pup then.. But even he.. Was scared of this part of the woods. Suddenly a twig snapped and exodus got into defensive position and let out a snarl.

Lues let out a high-pitched yelp and stumbled backwards, tripping over the very stick he had cracked,"S-Sorry Alpha!' he whimpered and got to his feet as quick as he could, knowing he had taken her by surprise, whether on purpose or not, and he could get in trouble so he lowered his head. His back left leg shook slightly, as it always would in the cold or when he was nervous, where an infection from chewing part of his own body off had taken hold around 2 months ago and was mostly gone by now but had affected some of the muscle there. Not enough to make him overall weaker, but a tell-tale sign of his emotions.

Akiko rested her head on her cold black paws, her nose flexed then sniffed an unwelcoming scent. "odd..." She muttered, her ears perking towards the direction. She looked behind her, seeing all the wolves were occupied and not noticing of her. She then jumped over the hedge that separated her from the pack, and began to follow the odd trail.

She had been venturing deep into the forest, the scent getting warmer; stronger. She took a really long sniff at the bush that held most of the scent she was following, then went trough it. "It smells so familiar... but what is it?" she questioned, her head lowered as she sniffed the frozen blanket. Her ears twitched to a sudden 'click'. "Guys look! The Shewolf from the story!" A child yelled. Her ears perked in curiosity. "Well she's not that big." The what seemed to be older one spoke. They must be talking about Exodus... She though, gaining a rush as they pointed the shinny object towards her, other wise known as a 'gun'. "Let's see what people think of us when we bring her back dead." Her ears flattened and head lowered. She began to snarl to show her rather sharp teeth. Dead? I'd like to see them try... she thought leaping at them, though getting skinned by the bullet on her side, causing her to wince a the new pain. The shock through her back a little, though she stood once more, growling and snarling as her pupils shrank size. They aimed the gun at her once more, but she leaped at them and all that could be heard was a distant bullet that echoed throughout the lands.

Exodus heard the gun shot. She looked at lues. "Get back to the pack" she snapped. She quickly took off in the direction of the sound. Her heart thumped hard in her chest. The closer she got the stronger the scent of blood got. "No, no,no" she growled to herself. She pushed herself harder and picked up speed, jumping over logs and bushes. She swiftly kept over Akiko and stood in front of her in a protective stance. She snapped her fangs, baring and snarling at the humans before her. Her pupils dilated and her cold piercing gaze shifted between them.
