Personality:
Whisper is a mare that has been through a lot. Due to this she is often very quiet and doesn't speak unless she has something to she needs to say. She likes to stand on the outside of things and observe, watching to see how others tick. Whisper has a large heart, and cannot resist helping a youngster in need or another horse in trouble with a predator. She isn't a skilled fighter by any means but she is passionate, and due to her bulk its easy for her to get lucky in a fight. She doesn't suffer idiots and will simply walk away if she feels as if she is dealing with one. Once you have gained her trust and friendship she is very affectionate and you won't loose her easily. She is your friend for life. Since she hasn't been around others she hasn't been on the receiving end of compliments and so will get flustered easily - if she had been human she would blush in reaction. She is oblivious to the world of romance and courtship, so it may be necessary to be quite clear and blunt with her. She has a strong maternal side though and often dreams of her future of a family.

History/Their Past:

She was born and bred by human hands, abusive human hands that made the mistake one day to leave her tied up outside the barn on a hitching post for more then five minutes. It didn't take long for her strength to rip the rope from the wood, and without hesitation she left. Unfortunately she had no idea where she was going, what she was going to do or how to survive. Still, she left civilisation as quick as her lumbering body could take her. She was just two years old at the time. Since then she has been on her own, working out how best so survive. It didn't take her long after rubbing the rope on her head to get it to fray and leave her body. After that she kept moving from territory to territory, eating when she needed to and drinking when she found water. Due to her height and bulk not many animals dare approach her but the few that did weren't very skilled and desperate so a swift, hard kick often sent them away. Now five years old, alone all the time, she is feeling the urge to find a mate, a family and friends.

Personality: An intrepid young mare, Kaya never backs down from a fight, no matter how impossible it may seem. She is fierce and protective of those she cares about, willing to do anything and everything to keep them safe. Though she can be stubborn, she is usually very calm and level-headed, and has seemingly endless patience. Kaya is rather quiet, and she always has an air of mystery about her, but that is only because she has trouble letting others know how she is feeling. Very gentle with foals, she would make a great mother, but she doesn't think she could handle it.

History/Their Past: Born to a wild mare and an escaped Andalusian stallion, Kaya's mother barely knew her father when they mated. Her mother bid the stallion farewell and returned to her life as a lone horse. Life was hard for the first couple years, as she and her dam were alone. The older mare worked hard to keep them alive and to protect her daughter, but eventually succumbed to the snowy elements of winter when Kaya was a little over two.
