What kind of laptop do you have? I have an Alienware and I thought it would last longer. But this graphics card is killing me. I hope it's easy to upgrade it.
And to respond to your mail - Owls aren't my fav animal, but I do really like them. My cousins son has loved them every since he could recognize animals, so for his 5th birthday last year I donated some money to an owl rescue. He was thrilled! It was cool to see that. Most kids want toys and stuff, but ... :D

Hah that's wonderful to hear Roo, I'm so glad you cousin had a great birthday; (and maybe some relief that his parents didn't have to buy him too many presents that year lmao)
As for my laptop, I believe it's called a 'Compaq', but that's what I see on the bottom of the top half of the laptop; just under the screen. There is also a small 'Presario CQ43' next to it, but I'm not sure if that's got anything to do with it.
I reckon it just needs a new card and some pieces aswell, I mean it was my grandma's before me; but it was her newest too. :P

You need certain tools to do thing in The Long Dark, all water is frozen and you can only fish if you can break through the ice in the tiny fishing houses on the lake. You have to make your own hook and line and as far as I know you just drop the line in the hole and wait? I haven't fished much, I'm more of a scavenger. xD Plus the tiny fishing houses don't have doors and it gets pretty cold on the lake. The only map I'm familiar with is the one with the gas station.

I once had a save file with tons of hoarded items and food. The only thing I lacked was a gun, back then some new games didn't ever spawn a gun. I found tons of bullets, though. And cleaning kits. So, I left my gas station behind in search of a gun and traveled far and wide with no luck. Eventually I played that file for so long that when a major update came along, I couldn't play the file anymore. xD

Does anyone remember when we talked about what we eat with grilled cheese?
I finally tried dipping them in salsa. Tastes like a quesadilla to me. xD Pretty good.
But I still used ketchup this time (didn't feel like opening a can of tomato soup) instead of salsa because I'm a tad ill feeling atm. xD And I don't think it would has settled well and that's coming from someone who loves pepper and hot spicy foods. Then again... Sugery ketchup might settle well either.

Also, my dog farted. And it stinks.

Dipping grilled cheese in salsa sounds amazing. For the bread I use mayo instead of butter, too. And sometimes I put mushrooms inside. Hnnng

If it's old, it's probably worth just replacing. Upgrading can cost hundreds of dollars anyways.
My laptop was a high-end gaming thing 4 years ago, so I'd really like to squeeze a few more years out of it with some upgrades. But might not be able to.

This sounds like a game I'd be pretty horrible at. Kinda like "Don't Starve" - played that game for HOURS but I never actually got far. lol Maybe I just haven't played enough survival type games to understand how they work.

Well, there's three different difficulties. I play on the easiest called Pilgrim. xD It's the most forgiving, wildlife will not attack you unless provoked. The others are Voyageur (normal?), Stalker (wildlife will hunt you down and survival elements are tuned to be more difficult), and then there's Interloper... Which has a skull for it's symbol. .n. I don't want to try that one. xD I'll probs die in the first minute.

Honestly saw the lion holding a grilled cheese in people's dens and thought it was adorable so I wanted to check it out.
Speaking of grilled cheese... I make a delicious grilled cheese, anytime my mum is craving one she gets me to make it, but she likes tomatoes on hers. Yuck!
I only use Kraft cheese on them cause they melt better, and its 2-4 slices of cheese depending on how long/wide the slice of bread is xD so they are mega ultra cheesy.
There also needs to be a grilled cheese emoji. That'd be awesome.
