After Estona had given them permission to begin, Renier's attention was fully on his opponent. He would allow her to strike first. Once the she-wolf had made her attack, Renier elegantly side stepped away from her, though he did not dodge her attack, he had gained as much distance between them as possible. Renier's ears would twitch as Sedna circled him, he knew she was quick and could easily dodge his blows, but he wasn't going to be reckless and go in without thought. He would wait for another opportunity to strike a blow to her. Renier would stop where he was, his silver gaze followed Sedna carefully, his body tense and ready to dodge when needed.

Currently, it seemed that everything around the brute was blocked out, not even a part of the world he was in. This is what happened when he sparred, the only thing alive was his opponent as he carefully read her movements, not wanting to risk his skin. When he began to move, Renier would lunge forward, teeth grazing the female's hindquarters in a vicious nip before he jumped away, tongue swiping over his maw as looked at the little bite mark he had made on the females back hips. A good strike, but not enough power to injure her.

Ears would pin hard against his skull as Sedna tried to push him over though this would only cause him to stumble a bit and regain balance, but she was very skeptical about how close she was to the brute. With a quick flash, Renier would whip around, jaws parting to take Sedna's left hind leg into his jaws. Though it would be easy to injure her in this position, he would yank hard on her leg, trying to make her lose balance and fall. He himself was in a bad position currently and could be injured greatly. Renier knew that, though.

Jumping away from Sedna yet again, Renier regained his posture and watched her, no aggression or pleasure of this battle plastered on his face. Many would wonder how he subdued the urge to glare at the female, but he would never tell. Glancing down at his shoulder, Renier would watch as a red tint stained a bit of his silver and white pelt, but even if he was in pain, Renier would not allow it to show. Keeping as less of weight on the shoulder as possible Reinier would begin to move, exercising his muscles to keep his mind off the pain that continuously shot through him. Lips curling up to reveal a short glistening row of fangs.

Watching the combat unfold through luminous aureate irises, Nikolaev tilted his head to the side gingerly, inspecting the offensive and defensive approach for both knights. The knowledge would be folded and saved if the time ever arose for him to spar with either of them. His thick tail wagged rigidly against the ground, addressing the excitement seeping into his system though the remainder of his body appeared relaxed. Low, rough calls were immediately picked up and Nikolaev pivoted his skull to locate the source with icy eyes. He detected the creature that Estona had allowed to stay -- Artair. Left ear flicking, Nikolaev gave him a small glare before returning to watch the conflict. The sound was irritating to his hearing especially when done more than once, however, Nikolaev was too intent on observing to do much else.
