Plot:
The world ended. It was so sudden, one day everything was fine, the next is wasn't. It was a virus, or at least thats what they were saying. There used to be 7 billion people on this earth and more than half were gone in a day. People just dropped dead, no bleeding, no agonizing pain, they just stopped breathing. It took a week for men in white suits to come and clean up all the bodies. The deaths continued for weeks, until only one or two people died in a town a day. Then the men in white suits stopped coming. The survivors had heard that the president and his staff had finally died. And when that news came about, that's when all hell broke loose. People started looting, killing, and taking people, for god know what. It was hard to survive, but people managed. With no electricity and running water, people had to make due with the little things they could find or make.
The worst of it all was over. It had been two years since people started dropping dead. The killing had died down, but there were gangs everywhere. You had to stay hidden if you weren't part of a gang, which is what Mino had done all this time.
Mino was just 18 when all of this started, she had just gotten into college and moved to the other side of America when the first reports came in. She wanted to go home desperately, but the men in the white suits wouldn't let the students leave. She managed to survive in one of the many abandoned houses in this city, but then after the men in white suits stopped coming, she decided to move on to somewhere else. On her travels, Mino came across a small farm and decided to set up there. She knew how to take care of herself, since her father was a very outdoorsy person, and she had dealt with farm animals all her life.


Setting:
We will start in a small town near Mino's farm, but will then move back to the farm.

To the north of the house, is a patch of woods which is home to much wildlife and has a small creek flowing through, about ten minutes from the house. To the east there is a small field that still holds two, old, dairy cows. Beside the house, there is a coop that has three hens. The nearest town is south, about an hour and a half on foot.
