Here are a few of my ideas for RPs. Let me know which one you'd like to participate in.

Playing Pretend
Children are often said to have a romeing imagination, pretending to be kings and queens, having pretend sword fights with sticks, but one of the most remarkable things they imagine are friends. The imaginary friend has been a part of children's lives for centeries. What if these creatures of children's minds weren't imaginary at all but very real.

In an ulternate reality, the creatures that are said to be part of growing up really exist. For whatever reason children can see into this world, even communicate through the barrier and become friends with the beings they see. As they grow up their connection disappears as they are told that these friends of theirs are all just make believe. Adults who never loose their connection are marked as insane in the human world.

Problems have arisen in the "imaginary" world. Some creatures want to scare and harm the children because ever since the beginning of time they have been skipped over for the creatures that are more cute and beautiful than themselves. Instead being chosen for nightmare fuel and monsters under the bed. They no longer want to play by the rules. The monsters want to step over in the human world so they can finally get the attention they deserve.

Based off of the TV show (and books) The 100s

It's been years since any one has set foot on the Earth's surface. The only 2,400 survives were on 12 international space stations that have come together to form the Ark. After 97 years and 3 generations on the Ark, supplies are dwindling and the stability of the ship is failing. In a last ditch effort, the council decided to send 100 child delinquents to the Earth's surface to see if it's survivable. On the Ark, when someone above the age of 18 commits any crime they are exicuted by being sent into space, or floated. If they are under 18, they get a second chance and on thier 18th birthday they are evaluated by the council. They are either floated or sent back into society. In light of this the council viewed their sacrafice as nessary but decided to keep this inforamtion a secret.

Now 100 children from the ages of 12-17 are on the Earth's surface. And they aren't alone.

Taken Flight

Flight. Humans have always wanted it and for centuries it has escaped them. They built massive machines to carry them in the air but they have never felt the way birds feel. They have never felt the air blowing their hair or felt what its like to run their fingers through the clouds. Not until now.

Long ago the Earth was left empty. Humans ruined them planet with war and weapons of mass destruction. All they could do was flee. The discovery of a planet that could sustain life saved the human race from extinction. Five hundred people came to the planet, creating a colony. The world around them was different. For the first time in centuries humans were not at the top of the food chain. Huge cat-like animals hunted in the forests surrounding the colony, crocodile's twice the size of the ones on earth filled the waters, and the kings of this planet lived in the sky. Gigantic birds were said to scoop up unsuspecting victims to never be seen again. The humans lived in fear of these creatures.

Generations later, humans began to adapt to this new world. They had become quite successful in growing them population and even created then own cities. It was then when people began to become fearless. These brave ones went in search of the kings, and queens, of the sky. They were able to find them and, to their surprise, they seemed to respect the humans. Some even befriended the humans. It wasn't long before the tales that would be know for years began to start of the ones who rode these beasts.

Every year 2 teens from each main city are chosen to be mentored by one of the avian riders. Eventually they are to take over for the aging warriors.

What need is there for warriors, you may ask. Well the beginning 500 had many disagreements. Many of the first 500 separated from the group, creating their own society. They now fight over control of the Aviary, a huge mountain that is said to hold the secrets of the Avian and those who controlled the mountain would be prosperous.

(Much like dragon riders only with birds instead of dragons)
