Elias blinked before shrugging,"I haven't seen Archie leave today, I haven't seen any other hunters this morning either, and I've been on duty for hours, so I would've seen them." He informed the two, tipping his head to the side, making his ears flop around a bit,"Should someone go ask, or should we let them do it in their own time..?" He asked hesitantly,"It's none of our business, we're guards, well, you aren't Auldiun, but that's besides my point."

Cairo walked around the destroyed city and looked at the broken down houses. He briefly wondered who might have lived there before the city was ruined, but he brushed it aside, he was hunting for now. A lone cat stalked a mouse to the corner of the street and in the distance Cairo could see a deer grazing on the grass that sprung up between the cracks in the streets. Somewhere, a dog growled and Cairo's ears perked. He slowly stalked towards the noise until he saw who it was, Aulduin.

He imediantly sat up as he saw what she was growling at, another deer. She growled at it again and pounced, latching onto its back as it tried to buck her off. Barely thinking, Cairo raced towards her and leaped onto its back with her to bring the deer down. Aulduin didn't even glance at him as they clawed at it together, but when it had fallen and she had delivered the killing bite she turned to Cairo.

"I didn't need your help!" She snarled as she grabbed hold of the deers leg and began to drag it back in the direction of camp.

"I know you didn't," Cairo replied defensively, "I was just helping!" He padded next to her and grabbed the deers neck to help her. Aulduin stopped walking and put the deers leg down before turning to him with firery eyes.

"I don't want or need your help." She repeated, but less anger powered her voice this time. She resumed dragging the deer back to camp and he shook his head to clear his mind. He turned on her, he would get his own prey. As Aulduin got farther and farther away, Cairo's heart couldn't help but ache just a little.

(Sorry if this is really bad, I'm confused as to whether or not Aulduin is out of the den and I'm writing Cairo as such a softy! Oh well!)

The nutmeg tinted shepherd trotted back into his camp, his previous whereabouts unknown. His high carried head and tail made the male look royal, but he really was just a street dog. The scars that marred his pelt danced in and out of visibility in the wind as his dark ears remained alert to even the smallest sound. His cocoa eyes, rimmed by black, took everything in. He trotted down from his incline and entered the building, heading towards the corner where his bed was located. He dug up the old sheets, claws catching in rips more than once and adding towards the old blanket's ratty appearance. He turned back around and barked loudly, "Anyone up for a hunt?"

Tino seemed to awaken from his deep slumber at the mention of hunting. He hopped up from his spot on the ground, tail wagging "Hunt? food? yes! I'd like to!!". TIno panted, big dog smile on his face, "When are we leaving, anything specific we gonna look looking for?", his teeth began to chatter as excitement took over his self control.

" Ah, I'm fine. My side is in a bit of a pinch - I took a hoof to the rib tracking a deer the other day. It still hurts, but I'll make it," she nodded, mostly to herself, as if verifying her memory. Her ears pricked forward at the sound of a loud. commanding voice. The alpha. Indictus. She stood, motioning for Archie to follow her before taking off into a light trot. Despite the faint pain in her rib, she showed no weakness. She couldn't. She had to be strong, especially in front of the alpha.

" I'll hunt," she spoke, a voice inside her head telling her no, that it could end badly, ' you aren't in your best shape', but she would surge on. She was hungry, and hunger often drove one to do reckless things.

Archie blinked, standing and following Mira, tail starting to wag,"I was just about to ask if we could go hunt. Ill go, sir!" He chirped happily. Head tilting to the side as he let his ears flop around. He looked a bit puzzled at the fact that Mira had wanted to go hunting, but he said nothing of it. He didn't need to start an argument.

She stood tall, proud. She looked to Archie, her features tense, but she still held a softness for him.

" How are you, though, Archie?" she wondered, returning his question.

There was a notable difference between her behavior now. Around Indictus, she was firmer, less lenient and more surly. There was something about their leader that sparked this behavior in her. She was always set to impress him, so much so that it could be the death of her one day. But she was determined to not let it be that day.

The shepherd nodded his head as his pack joined before he turned and flagged his tail, an invitation to follow him. Indi leaped with ease to a broken window's sill, landing atop it for a split second before jumping off again. He lowered his head, His sensitive nostrils taking in and sorting every smell until the musky scent of deer was discovered. "This way!" He called before starting off at an easy lope.
