Payment will work like this. Anything you make will 50% share the profit between me and whoever made it. Including recolours! You can't go around selling things as you please though, it has to be okayed by me and to do with this forum! Nothing is being sold yet though ^-^ It's still in the idea stage ![]() |

Druid, the ref sheets look great!! I`m not sure how different you want characters to be, but maybe you could include "typical" marking patterns? Like, the male in your example has black socks, chin strap, and ear tips? And then a white muzzle, but I wouldn`t know what to call the chest marking.... But anyways, you could list other markings patterns that the species has, if applicable. But if you are designing all the characters, that may be unnecessary. ![]() |

Thank you! Good idea, with the crowned daywalkers they'll probably all look very similar, just minor variation. Others can design new species too :D But they'll have to accepted and what not :P ![]() |

I've started designing the next species! The one drawn is a female, her feathers are to keep her young warm. ![]() ![]() |

That`s neat! I started whipping up an animal too! I figure if you wanted to start a little mini rp with the rabbit-like creatures, maybe a low level predator should be tossed in to! Like I said, I`m a wildlife and fisheries major, and one big topic we study is Vertebrate Natural History (so, evolutionary avenues- how we got to the animals we have today). And there were once hooved predators, and I just think they were so freaking cool. They were all either kinda dainty, or build like a hippo. I kinda wanted to design a tank of a creature, but wasn`t getting anywhere, so I went dainty instead! ![]() So, think something with a gazelle or deer-like torso, but the face of a small predator. In my head, I was going for a several-like face, but I think it came out more foxxy than anything :p I`ll explain it a little bit. Obviously, predators with hooves went extinct- we don`t have any left. It was largely because there were outcompeted by predators that have paws. As you can imagine, it`s easier to hunt when you have paws-claws to grasp things. Also, a lot of these guys weren`t particularly strong. So I figure, this can be a low-level predator. Larger and stronger ones could take it out, but they stand a chance to survive because those long legs make them swift an agile. Since they are not top of the food chain, I think they chould be counter-shaded (a type of camoflouge-- technically called Thayer`s Law), so they can hide from larger predators. I think this should most strongly apply to the young. Also, under the tail should be white, or at least significantly lighter than the surrounding fur. This is for a behavioral trait called "flagging" that is exhibited among many deer, gazelles, and antelopes. I figure since it has that body type and can fall prey to other animals, it should display the flagging behavior as well. The black point marks can be optional- they serve no real purpose. Sorry that was really long- I just wanted to thoroughly explain my idea. It is really messy, but I have a class tonight and I just wanted to get it posted before I left for class (I may not be done until very late). If you like the concept, I will clean it up, fix the legs&hooves (they look awful!) and try out some spreite poses! Let me know what you think ![]() ![]() |

I really like this idea! I imagine it being about twice the size of a fox and it would hunt the rabbit things! ![]() ![]() |
