ALSO, PLEASE NOTE, I live in Texas, snow and sledding are foreign to me basically, even if we do get the occasional snow and ice. So please feel free to sprinkle info on me!

In the dangers of snowy Alaska, there are towns, small ones, where humans and dogs live. But, some dogs are quick, and run through the dangers for mail, even just races!

Still sound stupid? Well, what if I said you didn't have to roleplay a sled dog? You can be the leader of a team! You don't have to though- You could be a fan of races! You could even make the sleds that the sled dogs run with!

Rules!
-Hate the character, not the person
-All Lioden rules apply!
-Be nice, please do not start fights.
-If you wanna start your own team, go ahead!
-You can do recreational sledding, hide lead chihuahua in your character sheet to prove you read rules, you don't have to race or deliver the mail!
-Don't make your dog a freaking lead Chihuahua I will call you out on this
-Oh my god no godmodding
-Please source your image if you use one!
-It isn't required but you can use a tag if you have more then one character!
If you break the rules. You get two chances, a temporary outing, and then a ban from roleplaying in this roleplay.

What breed for a sled team?!
A bigger dog with enough height to get through the snow, and over 35 pounds! So no miniature poodles!

How many dogs in a team?
2 or more! Though, you can use one, but it's not preferred for races and mail!

Now! There are base teams if you don't wanna make your own team or be in other sled teams!

Commands:
Hike! -- to go forward [Alternatively, mush]

Gee -- to go right

Haw -- to go left

Whoa! -- to stop

Straight ahead or On by! -- go straight and ignore turns


Dog positions-

Lead dog- Respond to commands, most vital, require speed, intelligence, and be alert. Can have one or two lead dogs.
Swing dogs- Behind lead dogs, help steer the team, and keep the other dogs on track.
Team dogs- are between the wheel dogs and the swing dogs, help give power to the team. A small team may not have dogs in this position. Alternatively, the term may be used to describe any dog in a dog team.
Wheel dogs- Closest to the sled and behind the team dogs, usually the largest and take most of the weight of the sled, must be calm.
