Riverkit-Female- kit-Icestar

The little she-kit could hardly mew for she was wimpering too much, after a few minutes of gibberish , she fineally looked up at Icestar , eyes brimming with tears, and nodded, then broke down and collapsed onto the nursery ground, then inched herself so that she was practically underneath Icestar, all the time wimpering "It was so scary !!!!!"

Icestar ~ Female ~ Leader ~ 42 moons ~ mentions: Riverkit

The she-cat looked at the little one as she whimpered. She watched as Riverkit looked up at her after a few minutes, she could see the tears in the little kits eyes and she felt so bad.. what a horrible dream to make her so scared. She watched as the little one collapsed onto the ground and then moved so that she was practically underneath. She huffed softly and brought the little kit close to her stomach, softly purring and wrapping her tail so it covered Riverkit protectivly. "You're ok now.. don't you worry.." she said so gently and calmly, she had never had kits of her own and yet this felt natural to her.. it was weird but she tried to comfort Riverkit as best as she could.

Riverkit soon stopped whimpered and fell asleep listening to Icestars' loving purr and her steady heart beat.
As she drifted off she thought to herself 'She feels like the mother i never had' with that calming thought she fell into a peaceful dream.

Icestar ~ Female ~ Leader ~ 42 moons ~ mentions: Riverkit

The she-cat smiled softly as the young kit calmed down and fell asleep. She thought she could stay here for a little bit with her.. so, she carefully moved the young kit into a mossy bed and laid down beside her. She cuddled the little one close to her, making sure not to disturb her as she made herself comfortable and made sure she wasn't waking her up before she laid her head down. She huffed softly before starting to day dream for this first time in a long time since she was a young warrior and her parents had left to hunt with Starclan just a few moons before. She knew what it was like to not have any mother or father figure in your life.. so she didn't want Riverkit to feel the ache that she still felt whenever she remembers those days.

Riverkit/female/kit/icestar/time skip/1 hour

Riverkit woke up what seemed like a year later, to find icestar sleeping beside her , she tried to remember what had happened and why she was curled up next to their leader, but she didn't care much , it just felt right.
She didn't want to wake icestar, so she settled down on top of her. She couldn't seem to fall back asleep
