I was doing some research and came across some interesting things... I remember the poll from one of the newer news updates about adding some new lions. So, I was randomly searching some stuff with lions and came across some ideas for these.

Sekhmet
Some interesting research I found talks about Apedemak as known in ancient times in Africa to the Kushites before somewhat moving to Egyptian culture. Sekhmet is supposedly the feminine form of Apedemak to a degree and is the Ancient Egyptian goddess of healing. She was also known to be a very fierce warrior. Perhaps you could have encounters with her in explore or visit her during the May event.

Bes
"dwarf god of sexuality and childbirth". Because who doesn't want to see an adorable dwarf lion god?

Aker
A lion god of Earth and Death in Ancient Egypt. Bonus, he's sometimes depicted as twin lions: Duaj and Sefer. He is often associated with the under world and with protection in various forms and depictions. Read more on him here.

Mafdet
My personal favorite, she's an Egyptian cat goddess like Menhit (think Apedemak's daughter in this game). She represents protection from snakes and justice. She is often associated with executions (possibly started from cats tendencies to drop dead animals at their owners feet). She supposedly dropped hearts at the feet of the pharaoh. She's badass and I want some sort of version of her in the game. I'd love to see her giving poachers a hard time and dealing out justice in the March Event.

Pakhet
Lioness known for her night wanderings and often associated with desert storms. She might make another fun lion to add to Lioden!

"I've wondered how people would feel about a chance of encountering non-lion deity figures too? I mean there are already uncharacterized non-lion NPCs as event traders so maybe? Maybe Hathor is sick of us eating her children. (just joking, as an example, but more serious events could occur like a random encounter with Sobek during the floods in June or something.)
