The Age of Fire is Among Us

In the beginning, four spirits had conjured the world; Earth, Air, Fire, and Water. Earth created the ground and stability of our world, conjured the mountainous regions and precious silver and metals in the rock he produced as well as the plants we see all around us. Fire heated the lands, gave the world and Earth's creations warmth and light. She created the Sun for us and for half a day, she allows it to stay before taking a rest. Then, Water arrived. His rivers and lakes, oceans and streams tore through some parts of the world but gave life as creatures began to flourish from the mud and clay. Air brought the winds with her. She made it possible for these new creatures to live and gave them intelligence, purpose, and wisdom.

However, they were not happy with all they have done. They wanted something intelligent, far more so than the creatures scurrying around the world. They wanted something that matched every one of them. Together, the brought mud and clay to form a great being.

Its body and hide were sturdy and tough, scaled just like plates after Earth.
Its wings allowed it to fly and soar with Air, glide upon the breezes.
Its held the ability to conjure fire, just as Fire herself could.
And finally, it held a maneuverability that Water himself could only hold.

This is how the Dragons were created.

They gave dragons their right to rule over the world, but something wasn't right.
Each spirit was growing jealous of one another, over the ability to create something so wondrous.

Earth wandered away and created Dwarves out of stone. Small, sturdy, and strong creatures who found refugee in the mountains where they dug for precious metals like Gold and Silver.

Water hid himself and created Elves from the flora that bloomed by the riverside. Tall, strong, and agile beings, they sought out guidance from nature and found themselves willful and insightful people.

Fire locked herself away and from her anger, Blighters and Demons were born. These creatures took wrath to a new level and killed whatever got in their way.

Air, seeing all that her brothers and sister have done, created Humans. She gave them further knowledge and power.

Every spirit, not wanting to see their first creation after the betrayal of one another, sent them after the Dragons.

It has been many generations since the beginning...

Dragons, now having lost many of their numbers since the first days, have become a solitary species. Their keen instinct is to only stay with another dragon if it's their spouse, otherwise, they will try to maul one another. Not too long ago, a drake, founded a clan. This was something unheard of, but he had a good reason.

Now is the coming of the Age of Fire. Will you join us?
