Patcheart waited patiently for her son to reply, silver streaked gaze raking over the young male's battered up hide, noting a few claw marks in the process. As the seconds turned into minutes and the male remained silent...to all appearances ignoring his mother, the faint amusement that had lingered within the tigresses eyes faded only to be replaced with frustration, annoyance, concern, and perhaps a dash of hurt. Snakepaw and Patcheart had their disagreements of course, as was only to be expected of mother and son...especially a single mother with a son who bore remarkable resemblance to his absent father, but for the life of her the raggedy female could not understand what she had done to bring about this disrespectful silence.

Tail lashing behind her, Patcheart responded to Snakepaw's silence quietly. "I see. Well in that case you are to go straight to your uncle and get treated. You will be participating in the evening patrol. You can be sure we will be talking about this later. Sunpaw, take your brother to the medicine den, perhaps he will confide his secrets in you. "

Turning around slowly the mahogany beast indicated towards the two males with a nod of her head as her eyes met those of Honeypaw...perhaps the rascal could figure out what was going on with her sibling. Lumbering over to the sunning rock, her steps abnormally slow, Patcheart lept upon it before sitting and curling her tail neatly around her paws as she waited for her clan members to trickle in. Once a sufficient number of individuals were gathered, the Deputy spoke.

"At the moment I plan to send out three patrols this morning...two groups of two for the lands that hug the ocean, and a group of four to walk the border of Roseclan and Solclan. Before we start to organize do I have any volunteers I should consider for any particular group?"

Listening to the deputy word's with apt attention, Redtooth mulled over his options for a few brief moments before glancing before turning his golden irises back towards his russet superior, Otterleap and Winterflame had already chosen their positions in the patrol and with Birdpaw now with him, Redtooth had to not only think of himself but what was best for his apprentice as a youngster and novice in the clan and what would be good for his experience. While some time by the ocean would be quite benefitting Winterflame had her own apprentice and Birdpaw would no doubt enjoy the comfortability of company around his own age in addition to learning. The ocean would have to wait for another day. "Birdpaw and I would also like to join the RoseClan patrol as well." Redtooth spoke up. He and Winterflame seemed to get along well enough, so there shouldn't be any social issues.
