-LOCKED - Primordial Spring Issue | |
Posted on 2017-04-25 09:01:29
26th APRIL - SPRING UPDATED, RETIRING FIXEDRetiring should now properly wipe Primordial Spring usage and your new king can use Spring no matter if your old king drank from it! - Everyone who drank from the Spring in 2014 and 2015 have been wiped and can drink now - Everyone who drank from the Spring in 2017 should be restricted properly until retirement (sorry we had to disable the spring for few minutes to make sure nobody drinks while we're wiping) - The mass update onsite might take about 15 minutes to 'kick in' and appear for members, as data is cached in the database. Remember that Wenet's special quest has NOTHING to do with this issue and is not affected. x x x April 25th - News from yesterday if you need to catch up: Firstly I want to apologize VERY much about the bug. Looks like it happened in 2015 but as the Primordial Spring never opened in 2016 we never noticed there's an issue related to the spring. Our coder is unable to connect to internet yet and looks like she will come tomorrow to fix the spring! What happened was that retiring did not wipe Spring's usage data and it made your new kings appear like they drank from the spring despite never drinking. We are unable to fix it back into the past as we cannot say who drank in 2015 (or earlier) and never rolled since, and who retired since - the only fix is to wipe the primordial spring usage on all accounts to NONE, with exception for anyone who was able to drink in 2017 - you guys are good and will be fairly treated because we have userlogs! yay. Summary - Some people cannot use the Spring despite having new males - this will be fixed tomorrow and for future. - Some people who were able to drink in past and still have the same male will be able to drink again - we are unfortunately unable to avoid this. (Again, terribly sorry :( ) - Anyone who has a male aging 16 tomorrow PM me before Rollover, I will be able to make you drink this year, and you will be excluded from the reset. - Anyone who was able to drink in 2017 (including after this news post) will be automatically excluded from the reset to be fair towards others - Drinking from spring is per King's LIFETIME, if you retire your king after tomorrow's fix you should be able to drink again with new king. The only thing that is being RESET is player's Primordial Spring usage data. Nothing else. Wenet's Primordial quest is not affected by Spring usage. The quest is something separate and you can do it no matter if you drink or not. After you grab the rock, you must obviously bring it back to her :P Hope this is all clear now, if I missed anything I might edit it in later. 0 players like this post! Like?
