Okay so I know there are a lot of you out there who have a beautiful lion with a mutation that you love and you have the best décor for them, but lo and behold, the décor hasn't been updated for the certain mutation and it's either somewhere on the lion it shouldn't be or floating in midair. Alternatively, you may have designed or bred the best looking lion you've ever had, maybe it's design is based on something else or it shows off that one marking you love so much, but it has a mutation that hides the marking or ruins the design. For instance, piebald is a sought after mutation and it passes down, so pretty much anyone can get one just by breeding to pie studs. That means a lot of players have the mutation and there are cases where it covers a good part of the lion. Now let me go on a tangent for a little while here so I can show you why I want this feature. This is Toony. I really wanted to king him. I bought him from a player who still has his rolled king and bred him using his rolled king and an NCL. He had one of the 7 'Z' golden bases and his only marking was Brown Shroud. Now cubs like that don't ever get a chance. They're either sent off to the Giving Tree where someone else will kill/preserve/chase them so that they are no longer in the game, or they're killed/preserved/chased by the players who breed them which yields the same result. Maybe it's just me, but I love the fact of a player who still owns their rolled king finding out that one of their king's sons is now a king. This is one reason I want this suggestion to be considered. This is what Toony will soon look like. It's a loving homage to the Rubber Hose style (a.k.a Old Disney style or 30s style, as I've also heard it called.) which was the main animation style of the 1930s in America. The multiple markings give him a white-ish face which, of course, is supposed to be the white face that nearly all animal characters had. Then the White Trotters marking is supposed to be the white gloves that a lot of the characters wore. Being the animation nut that I am, I love the idea of a king based on old style animation. I'm almost positive that no one has done that yet. This is the second reason. This is what Toony would look like with any kind of piebald. In every case, the original design is destroyed by the piebald. The white face and gloves idea is overshadowed by white nearly everywhere on the body and every piebald makes the nose pink in some way, which goes against the design in a different way. He's supposed to be exclusively black and white, so that he looks as if a cartoon character from the 1930s jumped out of his frame and is living in a colorful world. Any ounce of color in his genetics ruins the illusion. I know what you may be thinking. Just don't buy a piebald lion. Just don't make him piebald. Just king someone else. Just wait to have a piebald king. 1. I already have, I bought him before I bought Toony. 2. I can't just let a male pie be a sub-male. 4 GB is way too much to pay for a sub-male. 3. I've spent 6 GB on Toony so far. I will have used 30 GB after I'm done. That is not an option. 4. I can't keep my side frozen forever. At some point I'll be kicked out of clans for being inactive. -I am a part of the Hard Mode clan on my side. I can't join on my main, I don't qualify here. Now back to the suggestion, how will we integrate the feature? Make it an item, priced at 3-5 GB in the oasis. That way it'll be fairly rare, but not impossible to get. Not only that, make it a décor item so it can be removed if the player changes their mind. Maybe it should have somewhere around 5 uses. If you have anything to add to the suggestion please let me know. If you don't support this idea, tell me why. |

Please, I want a primal king and cub mutation possibilities but it just doesn't work in terms of appearance and decor. 0 players like this post! Like? |
