My suggestion to it - as to maybe help not lag servers - would be to have check boxes next to each trade. You can bump 3-5 at a time, and then those go on a 10-30 minute CD to be "mass bumped" again?

You can still individually bump trades, but if you bump multiple, they will go on a longer CD.

I mean, honestly, I sometimes have upwards of 30+ trades at a time, but I also don't want to bump them ALL at the same time and push each other out - just a few at a time, so it really isnt so tedious IMO.

That's my two-cents added, on how to possibly make it plausible to have w/o screwing up the server(s).

It would absolutely need a cool down to prevent people from jockeying to keep their trades on the front page. You’d just see the same people drowning everyone else out. I’ll take the inconvenience of bumping my trades one by one over sweaty players dominating the first 20 pages of trades.

I came up with another way, and its not necessarily mass bump, so much as changing the interface -

Just add the bump button to the manage trades interface. Rather than needing to open the trades in a new window, you can just hit bump next to all of them.

Maybe have an internal cd of 2-3sec between each bump (much like the usual "you're doing this too fast" clicks when entering raffles, accepting studs, etc)

But I would take the interface change if a bump all is too much to do (for servers or w.e)

No support. I have thought about this before, but the people with a ton of trades will just easily drown out all the rest of the trades. The one by one would at least slow them down sort of.

I have like 200 trades up at a time and that's just me. if 2000 people were bumping all their trades at the same time, there would be no time for anyone to actually see the trades we're bumping. I don't even think like 5 at a time would be a good time (it would be easier for me sure, but as a whole the tc would be so chaotic)

What if the interface changed instead like my most recent reply?
Instead of needing to open new tabs to bump, the bump buttons were next to the trade names?

There would be an internal cd like mentioned, but I think it would be more convenient than opening tabs and less intense than mass bump?

No support. I make most of my currency through the TC and often have over a page or 2 of things myself.

Here's what I do:
1.) If I have multiple trades of the same thing I just bump one or 2 of each item usually.
2.) If I have multiple trades of different things I just bump a few every so often and don't even worry about getting them all bumped in one go.
----- To keep track of what was recently bumped I start at the bottom and work my way up as I go.

Bumping all will not only cause a lag but also not solve the issue of trades not being seen. Many folks have multiple pages of trades. Myself included on both accounts. If most folks bump all because it's easier, faster, and more convenient for them, everyone's trades will be drowned out.
