Wandering Prince

You notice an odd gathering of lions in the distance, several prides clustered and clumped together, their respective males talking among themselves. Coming closer, you can hear talk of kings, marriage, and betrothal to what must be each lions respective daughter and son. Finally, one of the Kings notices you, and grins, "Here to partake in the exchange of royal blood, friend? Strange, I've never seen you before..." The King studies your face, and his own twists a bit condescendingly when he realizes you're just one of the many Lioden Kings. " It truly is adorable how you lot prance around in your tiny prides calling yourselves Kings! Tell me, are you from a long dynasty, or do you practice the old ways of usurping?" He laughs, then wonders, glancing to his second son, "Alas...you may be of some use to me. I've already got an heir to my name, and no place for this boy here." The King gently nudges his secondborn, " Perhaps you could take him off my hands? Of course, you'd have to prove yourself worthy. I will not give my blood to just any barbarian."

The whole conversation rubs you the wrong way, and if his pride wasn't there, sneering at you just as he is, you probably would've given this guy a clonk or two. You look at the younger prince in question-- he looks just as sick of these lot as you, and pleads to you with his eyes....

Young Rogue

Your nose catches the scent of blood, and being the predator you are, you follow it. To your dismay, it isn't a juicy, dying Zebra but another lion, younger and injured. When he notices you, he tries to make himself larger and intimidating, but knocks it off when it becomes clear it isn't working. "What are you staring at?" Snarls the teenager, " You've never seen a bleeding paw before?" You tell him you've stepped on many thorn and that he might be the latest one if he keeps being disrespectful. The male defies you, then looks apologetic, and sighs, " Look, I'm sorry ok? Just...being chased from a pride and having to survive on your own is frustrating work." You take pity on him, asking if there's anything you can do for his foot. He bites his lip, seeming hopeful, but it look dies in his eyes and he curls up again.

" I would ask to join...but what if you're weak like all the other lions? I don't want to be chased again..."

Looks like you're going to have to prove your power before he goes with you...

Huh, I like it. It may also be a good opportunity to recycle old Raffle markings that have kind of died out a little bit, and then the Special Lioness can get the brand-new ones, so they don't get mass bred immediately

To me it looks like an easy way to grab a lion with decent/perfect looks and nice stats without training him or spending money and time on him. And what if they would be able to be muties as well? It just rubs me the wrong way.

Lol someone clearly didn't read the bit about the trade off. Raffle males would have piss poor stats, JUST like raffle females. And like Thalath said, instead of having the newest marks, they could be used to top off some of the older raffle marks that look to be going extinct.

I've read. And you said that the "Wandering Price" would be the looker and the "Young Rogue" will have stats between 300 and 1000, not to mention the "Warrior Prince" who would have both. So much for your "piss poor stats" and the usage of older markings.
