The fabulous Dawn eyes, unlike Starshine and Sunglow, can pass multitude of eye colors to their offspring: Dawn, Starshine, Sunglow, Sapphire, Blue, Pink and Yellow, which is awesome. But the new update, with the release of sectoral eyes, got me thinking.

What if Dawn was a sectoral eye color of sorts, obtained by breeding Starshine and Sunglow together? It'd need to be a very low pass rate, I think, but it would surely add some excitement to the other two Celestial eye colors that currently can only pass their own.

Regarding Starshine and Sunglow, they could remain as they are and pass only their own color, or be given additional fails in exchange for the chance of breeding Dawn. Starshine could have Blue, Crimson and Pink as possible outcomes, and Sunglow could have Amber and Yellow - maybe even one of the "yellow" special custom eyes once they're released -, based on their own color combination.

What do you think?

@Simokey

Thank you!

Dawn has Starshine and Sunglow as fails already, as you can see here, along with Sapphire, Blue, Pink and Yellow. You can see in the Eye Previewer below there that Dawn has blue-yellow-pinkish hues, I think the fails make sense based on that.

It's an awesome idea in general, I think. I'd love to breed a Sunglow eyed girl to a Starshine stud or vice versa and have a Dawn baby pop up. Dawn eyes or bust.

Nah, sorry, no support.
I dont like Dawn eyes, and, as I have a lot of lions with Sunglow/ Starshine eyes, just..no, please.
Even, if with small pass rate, still no support.

As with a few other people here, I also don't like the idea of Sunglow/Starshine getting fails. While it does make a bit of sense to add a couple of fails to them, I'd rather just leave them as is.

However, having a low chance of getting Dawn out of a Starshine x Sunglow pairing sounds nice. It'd give me more of a reason to keep some of the Starshines I keep getting, even if I'm a bit tired of seeing them.

@Raikalu

There are some people who think it'd make sense for them to have fails and others who see those two colors as the "common" for the Celestial event. I personally prefer them to have both fails and the chance to get Dawn eyes, but it¡s up to the admins if they were to implement it.

Oh, of course. I know it'll ultimately be up to the admins to decide. I was merely voicing my opinion on the matter, is all. And as I've said, I do actually see how it'd make sense for them to have fails, I just... I'd rather they didn't. Or at least if they did, that the chance of passing them wasn't really low.

But perhaps I may also be saying this out of a bit of bias. Sunglow being one of my favorite eye colors, and as my king currently has Starshine... Well, you suggested Crimson as a fail, which, I honestly rather dislike Crimson/Red. But that's just my own personal bias. I can understand why you'd suggest the fails you did, for the most part, I just still disagree with it. Again, just my opinions.

@Raikalu

I understand, I was only replying to your comment, nothing else xD

To be honest, I dislike many of the eye colors I suggested as failures too, but they would make sense to me. Starshine is easy to guess why, as it is reddish around the pupil and blue-grey around it, so either Sapphire, Red or maybe the new Denim for special fails and then Blue, Pink or Crimson for common ones. Sunglow is a really bright yellow with some light orange around the pupil - the only other yellowsih colors are Yellow, Saffron and Peach, but the latter doesn't look like a Sunglow fail to me, so I think it'd be between Saffron or Sinoper for special fail and then Yellow and Amber for common fails, at least until we get new yellow special eye colors.

I'd personally love to have the chance of breeding other special eye colors out of common eye color combinations, too, beyond the sectoral ones... But I don't know how an entire overhaul of the eye genetics would be seen. I'd love it, but I'm sure it could ruin other people's projects.

I support this because actually the more fail colors an eye color has, the more desirable it is to me, I am so tired of certain eye colors dominating my pride because my current king has them and only passes this one color. My other account is transforming into a green-eyed pride because of my green-eyed king there and so I like it when eye colors give more variety.
