Tembea turns toward the next lion, "As I am retiring soon, I already have an heir ready to take my place, but this is my prides first time getting a new king. Have you or your pride witnessed many transitions of power? Were they peaceful or blood soaked?

Mzuka shook out his fur and snorted. "The last king, my father, gave up his place for me, but I had to fight him first. I took him down swiftly though, and he went peacefully after I fought him. He made our pride bitter and cruel and cold, but it is warm and welcoming now." He purred, nodding to the next lion. "And you, I have a question for you. Have you ever encountered the perfect lioness? What did she look like, and did you claim her?"

Gardevoir thought about it for a minute and said "No, but I have found some beautiful lionesses while exploring. I hope to find a lioness with a rosette or feline pattern someday. I love my Mane Ruffled lady for sure what with that pattern that looks similar to a leopard. But a rosette would sure be nice. Maybe I'll find one while trying to breed a 1st gen hybrid. I hope to get a mutie from Mona when she goes into heat again. If I'm lucky, I might end up with a hybrid right off the bat. But honestly? I think I'm probably going to get a random rosette before I get a 1st gen hybrid." As this is the first time I'm breeding for muties, here's my question. Have you ever gotten a mutie by just breeding a lioness with no breeding items to increase the chance?

Adventure of a Lifetime smiled. "I'm not sure if passable mutations do count, but it happens often in my pride." She walked away for a while before returning with two pied cubs who were meowing quietly. The High Queen of Moonblessed Pride put them down softly and grinned. "These two are Starfall and... uh... I haven't though of a name for the other one yet." Adventure of a Lifetime laughed. "They were born from the same mother! I still can't believe such a thing happened."

The pied lioness turned to the next ruler, a soft shimmer visible in her green eyes. "Tell me, what's the luckiest thing that has happened in your pride?"

Mzuka chuckled and tucked his paws under him in a sit. "Well, I was quite lucky to win a raffle for a lovely hibiscus applicator- it gave me my lovely pink fur. Before, I had moss agate, which was beautiful, but I was looking for something with some real shock value, and that was the ticket!" He glanced to the next pride leader and smiled.
"As for you, was there ever a time where you had over 5000 silver beetles? How did you make them? Personally I--" He cut himself off before he could rant. "Ah, sorry, there I go again. Go ahead."

The smilus king chuckled, his gentle voice quiet and kind. He raised a paw to pat the king on the back,``Ah no worries! We all do that sometimes! Now to answer your question, I have been close! We sold a bunch of unwanted food, since food seemed to be in abundant that month, but I wasn't around when this happened. It was with our queen, Oria! It was pretty cool honestly, even though I wasn't there I bet we were as rich as thieves!``

He chuckled again, turning to the next king with his deep blue eyes,``Speaking of thieves, has any of your lions, perhaps say, committed a crime? Maybe killed someone...?`` His voice was unsteady now,``We have a lion in our pride who is being held prisoner for her deeds and I honestly want to know how to deal with an evil lion!``

Vulkyn grumbles a bit, deep in thought. "There have been no murders in my Pride, thank the stars. But...there was an attempt. " The older King's eyes grow sad as he remembers. "Walks-In-Magma was a cub I found abandoned many moons ago. He had the most unusual red and orange pattern over his black fur.... Me and my Queen took him in and raised him personally. As he grew, however, his personality began to shift." Vulkyn cleares his throat, giving his fiery mane a sudden shake as he continues. "I made him my head sub male alongside another lion who joined our Pride as an adolescent. He...began to get aggressive, but I ignored it. Magma was truly like a son to me, and I would love him no matter what. But...one night, I woke up with Magma towering over me, his claws mere seconds away from ripping into my neck. If it weren't for my Queen and two other lionesses entering my cave at that moment, I would not be here today. " As the King of the Pyre finishes, he gives loaded sigh, his age showing even more in his expression and eyes. "We chased him out soon after, I could not bring myself to...kill the one I thought was my son. To this day, I still have no idea what brought upon this change in him..." He closes his eyes...

Vulkyn opens his eyes and clears his throat, turning his head to the ruler next to him. "Well, that's enough of that! Now, I had the pleasure of meeting Wenet last month, and the two brothers this month were certainly interesting, " he chuckles at that comment, "but what about you? Is there a favorite companion that you met in this land? They don't have to be from one of these...'monthly events'. "

At the mention of a lioness, Mzuka blinked. He didn't know much about them despite keeping a lot of them and was always partial to males. He thought about it for a moment.
"I've always loved Dioptase, that glimmering blue color... and while Jet is so empty looking, it has a certain alien-like appeal." He said, turning to the next king.
"Tell me, do you keep any pets? Any animals that accompany you everywhere you go?"
(does your king have animal decor with some kind of story/if not do you have pets irl)

Fuchsia was the first to speak. "Of course, there are many animals among us. I have one of my own, Rhino." Rhino, the ball python, was on the brown hyena's shoulders. He stretched out to sniff at the previous king. "Many of our lions have animals, from birds to snakes, and everything in between."

A large female brown hyena was the one to ask the next question. "Does your pride have any superstitious of their own? Beliefs that are unique to you."

Tayden blinked, shook his mane and gave a serious somber look. "The Great Lion wants us to be happy. We are all The Great Lion's cubs. The Great Lion helps those who helps themselves. Human's science and The Great Lion are incompatible. The Good Pride chasing rate is just as high as the rest of the prides. Cubs raised in The Good Pride dens will keep the faith, guaranteed."

Adventure of a Lifetime hummed in thought, pawing at the ground softly. "Quite a few, actually. Mainly pies and patches, but also other mutations such as bobbed tails, folded ears, et cetera. The rarest one is probably Sombra, a Ferus with a pelt as dark as a moonless night."

The soft lioness glanced at the lion next to her. "What's your greatest accomplishment as of now?" She purred, and waited patiently for an answer.

Tayden laughed and shook his crested man. He smirked and said, "Well, I've earned the title of Punk. I've attacked 200 lions and bred 20 crested cubs. My daughter is now pregnant with my grand cub or cubs, one of which will have the Dorsal Fur mutation. I'm very happy about that."

"How many of the cubs you sire are pretty enough that you actually keep them?"

Mzuka sighed. "Hardly any. They all look like potatoes, and it drives me crazy." He growled, pushing away a little brown cub as it tried to climb all over him. "Go to the tree." He snapped at the cub. Suddenly his friendly front dropped and a snarl twisted his face. He stretched out and watched the cub go. He turned back to the next king, grinning nervously.
"How do you like to keep your pride? Are you a kind leader, a strict one? Cruel, or caring?"

Tembea blinked slowly, and looked down at his paws. "I do what feels right," he said, "I have no hesitation to kill disloyal lions, but I am fair, and choose to sell cubs rather than kill them. Most importantly, I let the stars guide me. I do as the universe wishes me."

The old lion looked to the next king, "I am worried about my upcoming retirement and my heir Constellation. How long is your dynasty and do you think you are
a good heir?"
