Hematite reached a hind paw up to scratch behind their ears as they thought. "My cubs are...relatively well," they stretched out, claws unsheathing and scratching at the ground. "I've had no casualties, and all of my offspring are well protected. Admittedly, though, I am a bit...disappointed." Hematite moved to a sitting position, ears flicking in thought. "I have had nothing interesting. Don't get me wrong, I love my children. But all that I've gotten are results that I have seen before." They sighed and flopped down onto their side, "I sometimes wonder if I'm...losing my touch? I don't know..."

Hematite sat up slightly and looked towards the next ruler. "On a lighter note, I am sure most of us have met the older lioness in our travels. You know, the one that gives us the task of providing refuge to her sisters? Anyways, once the snake gives you your rewards, what do you do with the lionesses you have courted? Do you continue to provide a home for all of them? Or maybe you decide to...'make an example' out of them, so-to-speak? Then again, maybe you wouldn't even waste the energy, not caring how you get rid of them." Hematite lowered one ear and tilted their head, awaiting the answer.

he quietly listened to each king, taking in each question before hearing one of interest. his head perked at one. `` I kill them all, `` he happily chimes in. `` sometimes i use them for breeding projects, but that's often too long of a wait for me. whilst the rewards are delightful, especially the lion meat, i cant find myself any reason to care for so many extra lionesses that have such a... basic appearance. `` his ears flattened at the thought.


resting his head back onto his paws, turning to the next king in line. `` when it comes to event currency, are you the kind of person who scrambles to stock up on event items? or do you stock up on the currency, waiting for the next year? ``

Centurion tilted his head, as though in deep thought, "I don't find myself in need of event items enough to rush, nor stock up per se, but I do indulge in some things that are being sold. I suppose it depends on what strikes my fancy that day." He made a motion as if to shrug his shoulders, before answering the second half of the question, "As for currency, well," his eyes gleam a little with pride, as he thinks about it, before answering in a fatherly, yet reserved tone "let's just say my cubs want for nothing."

He looked in the general direction of the others, prompting the question more towards the general area, and less one distinct lion, "Do you prefer your cubs to be bright and colorful, patterned and mutated, or something in between?'

Glow Of Rising Sun shifted slightly rocking his head to the side as he thought about the answer. "I prefer patterns that don't overlap, no super unnatural and weird colors, color bombs only if they are on the more dull side, and my lionesses will never be bred with lions from another pride, or lions that share/have heritage from another pride." Glow Of Rising Sun nodded. "I'd guess I'm not even close to as picky as some can be and are, but I won't just take in any lion."

Glow Of Rising Sun took a moment to think about his next question before turning to the next king. "I apologize if this question has been asked before but which god have you chosen for this June?"

Monarch of the Veldt swept his long tail across the flower beneath his feet, taking his time to think despite the simplicity of the question. "I chose Anubis," he started quietly, "because Death has taken so much from me, and now I ask that Death give back. The serpent is why we've come together, but if all goes well, I hope to gain more than victory from my alliance with Anubis. I hope to gain what rebirth his religion promises - not for me, but for another."

Taking an even longer time to contemplate his question, Monarch tilted his head towards the next. "Have you ever been in love? Truly in love, with a single lion or lioness?"

Yurioni raised his eyebrow and chuckled anxiously. "My first lioness is truly immaculate. Her nickname is Aydra, and she has been by my side since the day I stepped foot into this terrain." The king spoke truthfully, seeming a bit awkward.

He shook his wiry mane, turning to the king that sat patiently next to him. "You," He called in a friendly tone. "The three gods I was informed of prior arrived this season. Who have you chosen to follow?"

he chuckled, quickly jumping to the question. `` im glad you remembered! `` he purred. `` anyways, I've chosen anubis this year. i usually choose bast, but I love some variety in my life, nor can I restrict myself of that fluffy canine any longer. `` he cooed, playfully rolling onto his back.

`` this may be a bit of a strange question, `` he hummed. ``but when it comes to feeding your pride, do you send your lionesses to hunt daily? do you buy from the other lions? or do you survive off what you find during exploring? ``

Monarch raised his eyebrows slightly, looking to the east, surely where his pride was located. He tilted his head. "I'm not in charge of keeping my lions fed. I eat when I'm exploring, and they eat what the hunters say they can, I suppose. We don't spend extraneous beetles on food - they must eat what they hunt, and I assume we have enough. None have left yet."

Monarch paused. "What is your religion, if you have one? What god or gods do you follow?"

Doriian tilts his head at the question. “I apologize, for this may be a boring answer, but I have no religion. Though I think there are so many interesting ones that I enjoy learning about. I love to learn about new things, however, with that being said, religion is just not the thing for me. Of course, I respect everyone so long as they are respectful of others as well.” After his calm, quiet answer, he looks around, thinking of his question.

Turning to the next king, Doriian asks: “do you have any specific themes for your lions? Be it in the names, or decor, or even just the types of markings your pride mates have? I, for one, have used many themes when naming my cubs.”

Dragon (English translation for my king) twitched his tail nervously as he shook his head. “I- I only recently inherited the clan after the previous king retired, and there wasn’t any set system before... so not currently. I don’t have any plans to find lionesses/cubs of specific marking because I think that it’d be mean to reject them based off of genetics, but I am thinking about a theme amongst names!”

He quickly looked over to the next king, hoping that his question wouldn’t be looked down upon. “Umm... What’s your favorite prey to eat?”

Monarch twitched his tail, thinking quietly for a moment. "I guess . . . well, I like birds. Different kinds, but the small ones, with smaller bones. They're useful, they're crunchy, and they taste pretty good. They're harder to catch, though, and my girls rarely bring them back. Sometimes I can get one or two myself, among the flowers."

Monarch didn't have to think as long this time, turning to the next ruler. "Do you like flowers? Do you have a favorite?"

The felis faintly smirked, stretching himself out in the sun then gesturing with a paw at his shimmering blue pelt.

"Well having a coat blessed by the celestials in the colour of the space between the sky and the stars is one of my favourites- sadly, it appears I was not able to pass down such blessing, and I feel like I am nearing my end- well, with this form atleast" he quietly murmured the last sentence, before turning his attention to another monarch.

"Who did you ally yourself with during the celestial war and why? I personally choose Menhit. I trust the daughter of that maniac to rule justly since she had directly witnesssed-and been personally subjected to- the crimes of her father. I trust in her being succesfull."

Silenced beauty hums softly, deep in thought. "That's a bit difficult, I have many lionesses that I hold dearly to my heart. If I really had to choose, Starseer or sinsong." She shuffled. "Maybe SparrowHunter or SavannahStalk" she nods quickly, deciding not to list of her whole pride

The blue queen turned her head to the next king, humming thoughtfully. "Do you believe you are the best looking in your pride?"
