-LOCKED - Felis, Denim and more! | |

Sorry to repost, a lot of edits happened! It’s here! Primal (Felis) variation is now finally in the game and fully breedable in the same way that Smilus is. It requires a Primal (or Primal variation) father in order to pass, and the chances are very rare. As with Smilus, the Pennyroyal item will up the chances a little, though! Felis will show up in both males and females, and adult females present with a mane - meaning all their mane markings and mane base will show up in their pictures. How do Primals work? Primal (Felis) is still a Primal, meaning it breeds just like it, has same passing chances etc. That's why it's a variation - only visuals change in this situation. You can consider Leopon generation system to be of something similar - it's still the same Leopon but it has different trait when it shows (1st generation). Any primal can sire a Felis, including Smilus. They all share same genetic code. That means, using Buffalo Scrotum will give you better chances of breeding a Felis! I would consider CRB as not useful in this case. I wanted to show (again) in Lioden lore how Primal variations look different from usual lions. Primal is very large, muscly, robust. It has short hind legs, thick fur, elongated face and sabre teeth, as well as bobbed tail and very fluffy mane. Females are fuzzier as well. Smilus looks more like a lion and is slightly smaller than Primal. It is very muscly and has long fur, but not as thick mane as Primal. It has longer tail than Primal covered in long hair, as well as long sabre teeth. I perceive them as very aggressive, but you can roleplay anything! Felis would be almost the size of a normal lion, is very elongated and lean, however very muscly. It has arched back and shorter, sturdier hind legs, along with bunny-like tail. It also has shorter sabre teeth and scarcer mane, but it has lynx-like fuzz on sides, females as well. The ears are tufted and body fur, where it's not sticking out, is very short. Small summary: - Primal (Felis) can only be bred from a Primal (or primal variation) parent. - Primal (Felis) will show up since birth. - Primal (Felis) has exact same genetics and breeding data as normal Primals. - It can be bred naturally from a Primal at a low chance, but the chance can be boosted with an item. - Primal (Felis) can become a stud and breed, but the Felis trait is not higher than in normal Primals. - It will affect cubs only bred after this update. - Mutie on Demand: Primal will NOT give you the variation type, only the basic Primal. - Pennyroyal works for 1 breeding only + Felis cub stages are same as smilus or normal primal + Teen Male stage has edited tail and ears and has a single tsavo shaped mane + Teen Female stage is up for debate in today's poll Of course as usual, mutations do NOT have matching decors. Decors match only to universal lions, if you want a dynamic decor that fits a mutation, feel free to make a custom decor with title/description that covers "For X mutation". Remember I am 100% fine with you drawing one of our own Decors for mutations as long as it's drawn completely by you! Example "Opal Jewelry for Dwarves" :D Battle portraits - looks like, if we let the head be a little lower in the picture, the decors will work fine for males! But Lab Frog females need to be shifted - Decors on den portraits are always suited to how universal lions work so they might look shifted. This cannot be avoided. Cons of mutations. NOTE: Felis female is missing some markings on launch - I know there won't be any adults for next 2-3 days so I am sure she will get updated before then. They will appear in batches. We are aware of a few issues with primal felis in the wardrobe, they will be patched tomorrow. A small secret mutation has been put into the game. It’s very rare and a lethal mutation, and we’ve kept it out of the wardrobe and TC for now to not spoil the surprise. We’ll be watching to see who discovers it first! Denim Eyes - passing rates: 50% Denim, 30% Malachite, 10% Jet, 5% Sage, 5% Grey New Custom Mane Bases Sorrel, Blonde and Almond! Skin? "Nose" was changed to "Skin" to accomodate upcoming update for pawpads which you guys voted on last year! To remind you: Pawpads will be merged with noses in an upcoming art update within next few weeks. New feature - Scrying Hidden Markings Per this suggestion you can now scry hidden markings in wardrobe. For 150 SB fee you can reveal all hidden markings your lion has, and it will tell you which marking is in which slot. An update earlier in the week has removed the ability to use iframe and script tags. These tags were previously disabled and never meant to be re-enabled as they present a serious security risk due to malicious people. Many of you have expressed concern over the loss of scrolling boxes in your den. To remedy this we have gone ahead and added a CSS class that you can use to make your boxes work again. Example: For large images on your den, they can be made to fit the width of their container using the class "fitWidth": To use it: External style sheets can still be used, and are the preferred way to customize the look of your den. Hopefully that helps! Raffle LionessCongrats Hullanta (#112715)! You have won the last raffle lady! New lady with the Rainforest is up for impressing in Special Lioness area in Explore or in NEWS section under News Post List! ;D Polls and dev notes Looks like Divine won with crushing 2k votes as 2018 base! Heavenly will be 2019 and Astral 2020. LINK - I would like to know which Felis Female Teen version would you prefer? I edited the bottom picture to be more in the flow with the signature Felis spine curve and thicc legs and other traits. I am unsure myself since obviously it takes few days to edit all markings etc for such small change even, so maybe you can help me with your votes! If the new version wins, I can make it a part of art update. 3 players like this post! Like? |

just realised something, If you go to search , search pride members. And scroll to mutations, theres one called, "Overgrown TeethAchiromia" That's probably the text used to cover up the new lethal mutation name. But like, maybe the new lethal mutation will look something like that? Not sure :,) Just a thought Btw, Someone already got a felis... How. 20mins after felis is introduced, a felis cub pops out. Lucky XD Xylax - looks like when Kitty was editing out the secret mutation, she pushed Achromia to a random location. Should be fixed tomorrow 0 players like this post! Like? Search is having issues. When you search a mutation you can go beyond the first page without it taking off the mutation search part 0 players like this post! Like? |
