as cool as these look, i know xylax is against it and i imagine other admins are as well. i'll support but i'm not keeping my hopes up, unfortunately.

edit: i really do like dragonfly as well. maybe it could be proposed as a base separately? it's not so far off from being a "blue" base like glacial and ice. (i say "blue" because they're actually in the black genetic group.)

Yeah, as far as I know Xylax is pretty against green bases. I actually like dragonfly quite a lot, but I don't see it as a likely possibility :/

I honestly don't know whether to support this or not. I'm honestly against green bases as a whole (I don't like that the joke one exists either, even if it can't pass). However, I -do- like Dragonfly. It's got enough of a desaturated blue to it that I'd actually be totally okay with it being added to the Black category. The rest of these, though, not so much. So basically... I'll only really support Dragonfly. Everything else is a no support.

I don't have a whole lot of hope for green bases ever, either, but I believe the reason we have blue/blue-tone bases is because of the, albeit cryptic, reported sightings of maltese or slate-blue big cats, such as the Maltese tiger in China and Korea. Similar mutations are "chinchilla" colors, which is a white or grey-ish mutation, or "isabelline" which is similar to Lioden's color "lilac."

Even our base "xanthic" is based off of a gene mutation "xanthochromism", which is an abnormally high yellow pigment in the fur or skin of an animal. I'll go as far to defend "cinnabar" as possibly being based off of the mutation "erythrism", which is an abnormal concentration of red pigment, but I don't know that for sure.

While there aren't any sources of green mutations or variants of big cats, and I really honestly truly would want to see them for the sake of creativity and wardrobe designs, I don't think it's firmly-based enough in real world-esque color variations to merit a place on the site. :[
Which is unfortunate because you did a very wonderful job coloring, shading, and overall making these bases look very nice!

Agreed August but there are plenty of bases being supported that are bright reds and blues which do not correlate at all. Sometimes it didn't even look like they tried at all to blend or at least tone down the colors so they aren't so bright. Right here I added a mix of green, Green and yellow, and Green and blue. People like the green and blue because it is closer to the blue bases that we have, just with a variation in the way it is mad so it's half blue, half green.

Personally, I don't understand the whole "won't make green bases" thing. In the past couple of months, we have seen pretty much every other color in the rainbow that wasn't here like, a year ago. I say green bases are inevitable. And they look fine. 100% support
