Dovepaw got up. "Well, the cat grabbed her, and took her to a small clearing, where a camp stood. Kits were crying, malnourished and dying. Warriors limped along, open cuts visible. Elders littered the ground, their last breaths being ignored. This was hardly a camp! It was like the aftermath of a war. Leafclaw, or should I say, Leafpaw, was scared. She was dropped, and she was told to find the leader, named Ravenstar, for he had a son that was the next in line for the lead of the 'clan'. Leafpaw was confused. She thought clans had deputies! But she went to find the leader, asking around and finally, should him. He was an old and quite scarred tom, and he weakly looked up at her. He asked her to find his son, Troutpaw. Leafpaw ran to find the heir to the 'throne' if you could call it that. Troutpaw was waiting for her at the edge of the camp, and the two ran back to find the leader."

"Ah, but alas. The old tom was already dying. He whispered something to Troutpaw, and Troutpaw brutally murdered Ravenstar. He said he 'was the leader now.' Leafpaw nodded, and walked outside, but the cats were surrounding her already. Their haunting faces and hollow eyes tore after her. But she didn't kill Ravenstar!"

Dovepaw paused, and sat down again. "She ran, and ran. She soon found Troutpaw standing outside of the territory, giggling. 'They were all going to die, anyway.' Leafpaw nodded, and uncomfortably followed him. He entranced her, and the two grew up together, rogues together. Soon, Troutpaw confessed he loved her, and the two had kits together. Leafpaw, now called Leafclaw, and Troutflower stayed together, until Troutflower disappeared and never came back. Leafclaw called out for her mate for days, until she finally fell, exhausted and tired of looking for her mate. She found a clan, called Riverclan. She had her kits there, but only one survived. She named the kit Dovekit, because doves are a sign of peace. Leafclaw took care of me, and did her best, but she ran away one moon and never came back. She found that dying clan, and found that two cats remained. She left me there, and came back with a rat. She fed the cats, and brought the two cats all the food she could catch. She saved a clan, Lionkit! But she was not done. One day while coming back from feeding the weak cats, a large male stopped her. He tried to attack her and take her kit, but Starclan saved her. She attacked the male, and ran."
