Rosepetal looked worried, running over to the medicine den.
"Rippleheart?" She asked worriedly.
He cant die!

Rippleheart gazed solumnly into the beautiful she cats eyes. "Rosepetal. . ." Rippleheart struggled to lift his head, and shakily began to speak. "Rosepetal. I'm sorry that you have to see me like this." The tom looked at his shoulder, and winced, as a small trickle of blood began to spill out. "I just wanted to tell you something before I go to join Starclan." Rippleheart looked at the ground, suddenly very interested in the dirt below him. "Rosepetal, I. . . ." The tom struggled to speak the words, not only because of his wound, but bevause of his aching heart. "I don't know whether or not you feel the same as I do, but I needed to tell you something." Rippleheart lifted his gaze again, and stared into the she cats eyes. Such a beautiful color. "I love you."

"I love you too Rippleheart" She cried, burying her muzzle in his fur.
"You'll be ok! You have to be ok!" She cried harder.
Rosepetal's eyes were full of pain, because of the tom in front of her.
He cant die!
"You won't leave me" She sighed trying to calm down, still crying.
"You'll be ok" She kept repeating this, willing it to be true.
He wouldn't leave her! Starclan please don't take him away!

"Its okay Rosepetal." Rippleheart sighed, comfort seeping into him. "I know that this is hard, but this is my destiny." Rippleheart placed his muzzle on top of the she cats head, slightly wincing at the pain in his shoulder. "When I came back to camp, and passed out, I saw my family. My sister spoke to me for the first time in moons, ever since she died." Painful memories flooded into Ripplehearts mind, but the pain was not as intense as it would have been in the past. "She told me that no one can dodge their destinies. It is my time to die Rosepetal, and your time to live. I know that everything is hard right now, but you will find happiness some day." Rippleheart laid his head back down on the edge of the nest. An ache in his heart he lifted his eyes to the grieving she cat. "Even though I will not be here in this world, I will be in your dreams, and I will always wait for you in Starclan." With that, Rippleheart closed his eyes. He felt very tired, and almost ill to stomach. "Thank you Rosepetal for bringing love back into my life." Rippleheart said with a wheeze. As he drifted into sleep, he sensed Rosepetals remaining presence. He smiled as his world unfolded into a dream.
(( Rippleheart still is not dead. I have one more post to do. He will die "over night" and I will do a long post about him entering into Starclan. I'm sorry for all the sadness :'( ))

Rosepetal cried quietly to let Rippleheart sleep.
He cant leave!
She needs Rippleheart!
Hes the cat who kept her from running away!
Hes the cat who kept her happy!
He made her feel as if she could fly!
But now all she felt was cold, falling through ice.
She needed Rippleheart!

Angelpaw couldn't breath. She struggled for air in panting, greedy gasps. She was freaking out at the sight of RippleHeart. She started screaming, though she didn't know why. She stopped screaming and started crying loudly. Tears rolled down her cheeks, looking like tiny diamonds. "No..." She moaned, coughing violently.

Ripplehearts eyes shot open. He quickly tried to sit up, but he quickly regretted that as severe pain ripped though him. He lay back down and looked at his shoulder. No blood. Thank Starclan! "Whoa, whoa, whoa Angelpaw! What in Starclans name are you yelling about!" Fear was coursing through Ripplehearts veins, mostly from being scared awake by the jumpy she cat.

Rosepetal was still crying, watching the tom's breathing.
she was making sure he didn't stop breathing.
She was terrified.
Rippleheart can't die!
She needs him...
She kept thinking the same thing over and over out of grief.
Her kits were meowing for her, Rosepetal ignored them.
For the first time in her life, her kits weren't her main priority.

Angelpaw

angelpaw sniffled. "I woke up an' no one was there. I thought I died." She cried softly, whimpering. She sniffled again, her eyes welling up with tears. "Wheres lionpaw?" She squeaked, coughing again. The apprentice looked crumpled and tired laying on the blood stained moss she occupied, still recovering from her fatal wound.

"Rosepetal, I think that Angelpaw needs some company." RIppleheart could not stand seeing the she cat so distraught. She needed to get something else on her mind other than his impending destiny. "She seems a little worried and I know from experience that you are a very comforting cat." Rippleheart smiled sadly at the she cat, willing her to go to the little white she cat. Rippleheart did not want any cat to be sad about him. He finally had come to his senses with what was going to happen to him, but it would take more time for every one else. He lay his head back on his paws as he waited for Pantherheart to come back. Rippleheart smiled at the thought of Rosepetal. She really did love him! He then wondered what was going on between her and that other tom, but the thought was not relevant now. Rippleheart closed his eyes again, but did not sleep this time.

"She can stay with my kits" Rosepetal murmured.
She didn't want to ever leave Rippleheart's side.
"they like to cheer cats up" She sighed.
Rosepetal looked at Rippleheart with heart-broken eyes.
She looked scared for the tom.

Lilykit, Thornkit, and Ashkit looked worried for their mother.
What if she never recovered from this loss?
Lilykit looked at Angelpaw.
She was envious of the beautiful she-cat.
Lilykit's green eyes could show the envy at this point.
The pale color got darker near the pupil.
She sighed looking at her massive brothers.
Maybe they could make Angelpaw happy when they were old enough.
Thornkit was very caring.
She sighed watching her mother worriedly.
