I have ice and penumbra apps to get him back to black group, but he looks awesome in Rhodo.

My end goal is lilac, I guess i can just go with Rhodonite and hope i get lucky breeding his offspring to my lilac guy.

I'm a natural lover so Rhodonite is definitely not high on my desired list! People are making some very nice designs with it, but pink just normally isn't something I want in my pride.

After playing with penumbra in the wardrobe i think I'll go with that, I don't think i can go red group, none of the fails interest me at all.

This is Him in-case your curious. It's almost his final design i just need to breed in slot 4 onyx panther.

Breeding natural lions is tough, I used to breed golden lions way back in the day, was obsessed with black sable and leg spotting heavy xD Then i moved onto maroon and genetics were introduced and the fails were horrible so i switched to black group where i think i'll stay.

I'm still yet to find a chased girl, trying very hard but no luck.

I'm currently trying to "pick" a breeding group whose fails please me. Gold isn't bad, but a ton of the "z" golds isn't exactly what I want. I was thinking maybe Red Light Solid. Normally I don't like red, but that's Cedar, Cremello, Fallow, Sandy, and Wild Rose for commons. I like all of those except Wild Rose (which isn't bad, just not my favorite). The specials are Sapela (which I love) and Cinnabar (which I do not, but sells decently because a lot of people DO love it).

Red light is nice, I've had a few of those bases as fails from breeding ncl's, not cubs I'd personally keep but they were still nice. I used to hate cinnabar but i've grown to love it with the right mix of blue and white markings.

I understand, Talmoi. To pretty much anyone but "naturalist" types, they're not super desirable! I like them because they look very "natural lion", especially with the right markings. Nice warm golden-brown kind of shades are my favorites.

I like a bit of everything, perhaps just because I started last month so everything interests me so long as the colors flow well in my opinion. Thank you! I was lucky enough to join in January when it was easy to get Primal MoDs! There's nothing quite as exciting as finding a chased girl with interesting markings to take into your pride; I certainly got excited when I got those three! Your proposed lion looks really pretty! He looks kinda similar to my side account's lion, except I went with henna instead of auburn brindle. I didn't want to play the lottery with trying to get that marking. :D Good luck to you, though!
